Hi everyone!
Been playing poker for about 3 years now, but I've never really bothered to put in the work that it takes to actually become a good big winning player. Mainly I've played micros and cashed out small every once in a while, but this year I'll try to actually win bigger, and play bigger, and play more
I Started the year with €55 bankroll which has now grown to roughly €200, and I've gone from playing 4nl to taking shots at 10nl so far, and I'll move down if BR goes below €150!
I'll try to keep this first post somewhat short so you guys won't die reading
Imma post hands etc if I get to some tough spots where I'd like to know you guys opionions, which most likely will happen often!
Last but not least sorry for my english but hopefully you'll understand me fine enough, and good luck at the tables!
Alright, I'm done for today! Kinda standard stuff, didnt get to many tough spots except for the one below which ill talk about soon. First, some results for the day:
Hands: 682 (didnt have time to play more today, had other stuff to do)
Profit: €7.89
VPIP: 20.9
PFR: 17.7
3B%: 5.3
Reads on villain(s):
CO is rly aggro and has shows some 3b bluffs to me earlier, havent played him before tho
BTN is just a regular fish, playing something like 40/5ish
SB is a nitreg
Imo hand is shove if villain is 3betting a lot like >10% and set mine if its 6-8%.
Im out! Swag
small samplesize but so far his 3b had been >10 and i did indeed shove ty for ur opinion

thanks man gl 2u2!
u wanna know what sucks? the site i play on now started to run 10nl BBJ tables, and now 90% of all 10nl tables are BBJ :/ lets hope for some run good and ill might take a shot at 20nl pretty soon!
Hands played since last update: 753
Bankroll excluding RB: €173.65
alright another day, another break even day. had pretty good volume but i played so f bad and donked off couple stacks early w overpairs against nits who obv had me crushed, i better stop making those "i-know-im-beat-but-i-wanna-see-ur-hand-calls"...
luckily i managed to recover it tho thanks to some coolers and bonuses and all that good stuff
since i already know i played those hands terrible, ill show another hand instead where i have KK against a fish who had the following stats:
VPIP: 60
PFR: 6
3B: 2
Hands: 267
Preflop: Hero is UTG with K K
Hero raises to $0.30, 2 folds, BTN raises to $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN raises to $2.50, Hero raises to $8.85 and is all-in, BTN calls $6.35
Flop: ($17.85) Q A 9 (2 players, 1 is all-in) Turn: ($17.85) Q (2 players, 1 is all-in) River: ($17.85) 4 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $17.85 pot ($0.89 rake)
Final Board: Q A 9 Q 4
BTN showed A A and won $16.96 ($8.11 net)
Hero showed K K and lost (-$8.85 net)
i (almost) never fold KK pre but is this 1 of the times where i shouldve? i mean 2% 3b is so f nitty and those min 5bets are like always the nuts. is it possible they do it with QQ/AKs or something like that?
if u wonder why i only sat w 88bb its bcuz i dont have auto top on for some reason so theres no real reason behind it, i prefer 100bb
feel free to comment about the hand above
Hands played today: 1405
Total BR: €172.35
#Lolbreakevenaments
Edit: i realized i failed with the HH and i spoiled villains hand, but whatever

Even if u know villain has AA 100% after min5bet u can still setmine and just check fold other flops. Standard all in tho.
Thats true, setmine might be good there. However im sure i would crycall all low flops. I agree thats the hans is pretty std but all my other hands was just me playing terribad so no need to show
alright so today i played pretty much, results is obvious, breakeven bcuz im a fish like dat. na but tbh i ran pretty bad in general, as long as i dont lose big i shouldnt complain
Hands played: 980
BR: lil less than last time
these hands i show below is against the same villain who was a monsterfish, so ye. i dont rly look for any kind of advice in these hands i just show them for the luls, but comment on my bet sizing if u wanna
Preflop: Hero is BB with A A
UTG calls $0.10, MP1 calls $0.10, MP2 raises to $0.43, BTN folds, CO calls $0.38, Hero raises to $2, 3 folds, CO calls $1.57
Flop: ($4.63) 3 7 4 (2 players)
CO bets $9.61 and is all-in, Hero calls $9.50 and is all-in
Turn: ($23.63) 6 (2 players, 2 are all-in) River: ($23.63) A (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $23.63 pot ($1.18 rake)
Final Board: 3 7 4 6 A
CO showed 6 6 and won $0.00 (-$11.50 net)
Hero showed A A and won $22.45 ($10.95 net)
update time!
played decent volume since i last posted ITT, lost 4BI in like 30min in 1 session where i tried to play waaaaaay looser bcuz my normal 3b% is too nitty if imma move up.
so i tried to play looser and 3bet much more and it went f terrible obv, so ill take care of that when i move up to 20nl, maybe take some coaching etc
anyway i recovered most of that today and br is now:
€164.41 with about €70 rakeback coming feb 1st
My goal for this month was to reach €250 so lets see what happens!
whats goooood!
played 2 sessions today, 1947 hands. first session was a bad 1, got coolered KK v AA against a guy who had a 3b% of >15% and some other stuff like that, but hey thats poker, nothing to do about it . ended thats session stuck about 2BI.
Then in the other session i managed to hold up in like 3 70-30's which is rly fortunate and i ended the day w a profit!
Advices to myself:
try to avoid getting myself in big awkward stacksize turn/river decisions, gotta adjust my flopsizing to tryna avoid that to happen.
Dont be a calling station!
Bankroll: 176.27
Just wanna throw it out there that my br was a bit over 180 which made my br over 250 w RB, which means that i reached my january goal for a while! Atm im like €4 away, so lets hope for some rungood in the last days here in jan
Just realized i havent posted a hand for a while, so imma post one now. its an example of the advice i gave myself earlier, pay attention to stacksizes so my turnshove wont be so awkward in a spot like this:
small samplesize but so far his 3b had been >10 and i did indeed shove ty for ur opinion

imo even though his 3b is>10, you still let him play perfect. He will fold out all hands you beat. I think calling a 3b and shoving to his cb is fine or clicking back pre to try to make him spaz. Also folding is not far out there as far as options go.
Just a short update, got some coolers my way AA > QQ so i dont see the point of showing any HH's
BR: 205.99 + br of >70
When do you guys think i should take a shot at 20nl? im thinking about getting coaching when i start 20nl which costs 75e for 2 hours (wont tell who it is since some guys will think im paid for promoting him blablabla).
I think ill do it when i reach a 475 BR so i can ship him 75 and i have 20BI left for 20nl, sounds fine? im thinking of taking liek a 4BI shot so if i would go under 320 i would move back down to 10nl
