Good day! BearFromLT here!
Here I am, returning to poker after one year! Used to play PL25 SH, but since now my BR starts at 200$, will do the grind up from PL5 using 50BI+10BI for next stakes BRM.
Goals: SN & PL100 till the end of 2014. Hopefully this tread will help me to keep going.
Ill do my best trying to make this tread entertaining, and with first session starting tomorrow, there are many EV dragons, GIF hands and memes to come! Cant wait to see how people have improved over this year, but they sure haven't improved at PL2!

Day 1: here we go

Okay, so the goal was to get 50$ in EV and get BR up to 250 (50BI for PL5), then 50$ the next day (10BI for PL10) and shot PL10 the day after. HOWEVER, PL5 seemed quite as soft as before, so approaching the 50$ mark, i figured why not grind 10hours more. Was 3tabling zoom in the beginning, but after couple of hours decided to start 4tabling. Sadly approaching 100$ in cash was quite unsuccessful, so it turned out to be a 19 hour session.
Just took a nap, and today Ill do PL10.

This be THE graph, visualising 26 EV bb/100 b4 rb (silverstar for now, so not such great deal anyways)

Day 2: First shot at PL10

Well, today was rather BE. Slept just couple hours after yesterdays 19hour 4tabling zoom session and definitely wasnt playing my A game. Also, it is strange, how over years certain tendencies have established their place among certain limit's players minds. I was using rather simple and extremely exploitable "strat" to just demolish PL5, while at PL10 its not even profitable.
HOWEVER, it seemed as most players at PL10 are playing much alike, and today before closing the tables I might have discovered a biggie that should let me crush PL10 aswell by just repeating robotic exploitable moves. But, thats for tommorow since Im "tired" as frekin nascar track . Currently BR stands @365$ - that is (and further will be) including stellar awards. FPPs are to be stored for later.
P.S. Have hit goldstar, at this pace platinum should come in a week tops.

      Day3: Lagging panda

So. In the morning I was doing pretty mediocre, tried switching up my game to fix that fast falling redline. Well, I succeeded at that. To be perfectly honest, i like this style even more, I just need to stop bluffing when I know Villain is not folding. This is my today's graph. I might do a couple k hh more, but I find using paint on my graph rather relaxing. Im getting good at it too!

The following hand is a perfect example of all the hands marked by the red dot in my day3 graph:

          Day4: Finding my A game

Not much to be said. Was honestly about to move down to PL5 in the midday, however after getting quite some motivation from PLO 2p2 treads, I found the will to play just 2 zooms. Having had trouble with the urge to always do as many as possible this was quite an improvement that let me turn the day to quite a profitable one, aswell as discovering that while playing your A game and doing NO big mistakes 2 zooms can be as entertaining.
From now on ill be doing 2, maybe will try 3 later tomorrow. Expecting tomorrow to be the best day so far, may the PLO fortune look upon me.

          Day 5: Damn ducks

Yesterday I was watching PCA final table till round 8a.m. or so, then took a two hour nap, went to the gym and today put in only 2,5k hh, Im pretty tired so gonna go to bed and do 14h session tomorrow. Did around 6 big mistakes (quite a high ratio) in 2,5k hh, so only came up with 3BI EV profit. Still it feels as I should keep working on my 3 zoom game, as I start feeling as im getting more and more free time twotabling and to improve my multitasking skill I should keep it pushed to the limits.

Day... I have no idea, but around 10th

Just an update. Moved down to PL5 zoom cuz of the EV swing. To be perfectly honest I feel that with every micro limit up from PL2 tendencies change so much that you need to develop another strat to maximize your earnings at every limit, apart from playing solid poker ofcourse. Now I'm a bit more comfortable grinding my BR for PL25 at PL5, as people here are way worse making my hourly better. As from the learning aspect I feel that its similar, as PL5 nor PL10 surprise me anymore, I just want to get to play against PL25 regs once again and continue from there.
Meanwhile rereading PLO from scratch. Was looking into various forums for staking+coaching, but maybe its bit too early for that. Im positive I can BE @ PL25, but swings get quite harsh, so will rather grind that BR at PL5 in a week or so. Still putting in huge volume. Well, 7-8k hh/day may not look like a huge volume, but it quite is considering average hand lenght at zPLO.
Had a bit of a motivation lack at one time, since year ago I left poker being 50BI below EV, and now had 30% of starting BR running 1.5BR below EV. However this video I got shared is one of the better ones ive seen - someone might find it worth those minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yf2tOYKTgk

Oh, and joined a PLO group (:

                  b) it can stay somewhat underground for the following two months.

Reason being: following daily posts by OP are only material for major upcoming >possible< 2015 bet. I am moving and will be posting daily graph every day from day after tommorow (Oct 20, monday, although my monday will end reasonably deep into tuesday) to one week before 2015 to monitor my volume for credibility during >possible< future events. Please do not post in this tread unless necessary (you held on for a year, i'm sure you can manage).

                  -DMSJ, Cheers!

Didnt have great sleep after moving, since literally had to wake up 7 hours earlier than usual. Performance wise i tipped off the A wagon earlier in the day, but expect to improve that once i get a decent routine going here. I chose 1PM filter because that is approximately when i wake up now, and i only will be pushing my day further, so no hh's will be missed. Goal is to still be counting 20/100 towards the end
