Honestly, best of luck to you, you seem like a genuinely nice guy, but blaming losses 3 days in a row on running bad is a little naive IMO.

Uh yeah, pretty much this. I appreciate you reading this thread and I know you're only trying to help, but 3 losing days in a row while playing fine is perfectly standard. Take a look at some of the top pros' SharkScope graphs and you'll see 50-100k downswings in all of them - me losing ~$3k over 3 days is nothing.
In for Sunday grindaments, lets gogogogogo!

Couldn't have said it better myself! Three losing MONTHS in a row - then you start to worry! 3 days is so standard it's not even worth a mention.

Session 49
Another bad day, got slightly better towards the end but a definite low point in the middle. Ran deep in a couple MTTs but got some sick beats to bust out. I was getting overly invested in every hand and reacting to winning/losing way more than I normally would. Something's been off this week and I'm not quite sure what - I haven't had a full night of sleep, or much exercise because of an injured foot. That could be it. Anyhow, not sure if I'll play tomorrow or not, but for now I'm gonna make sure I get some rest.

Re: $100k profit in 2012, come Hell or high water!
Session 50
No improvement today. Still feel like I'm playing well, I doubt I'm at 100% and I think I'm stepping into a few high variance spots where I perhaps don't need to, but I'm doing pretty well at not letting the downswing affect me. Gonna do some reviewing tomorrow and check up some HHs to make sure I haven't been shoving too wide etc.
Really liking the addition of the new 'Hot' turbo tourneys to the daily schedule, great stuff from Stars - even the $11 at around 5.30pm UK time today had 9k up top which is awesome. Gonna make it a lot easier for me to stick to turbos during the weektime in order to get more volume in.
Also, on another note, I have my first coaching session tomorrow night with a player called 'Kassiko' who saw this thread and got in touch. I'm really excited to get started on something new and I hope if this goes well then I'll be able to take on more students somewhere down the line. I've worked as a teacher before (mostly in English language tuition, across several different countries) so it's going to be really interesting to be able to put some of that experience to use in poker.
EDIT: Just one more note - it's important for me not to lose track of the fact that this is an 850 game downswing, which is pretty much nothing. I am fully prepared for this thing to go on a lot longer before it gets better, but I'm equally prepared for it to turn around on Wednesday when I get back on the grind. Here's hoping.

Yeah, gl man. I'm on 2k breakeven stretch atm and its really messed with my head. Only ever 200 game downswings though. Just can't get anything going. Kudos on keeping so level-headed. Variance in poker's SO mental isn't it?!

Yeah it is. Really crazy. The longer you play the more you understand it. Keep at it, results will come

Don't recall that hand but I guess I won!
Session 51
Another day in the red, but it could have been very different. Final tabled two 35/180s and came 6th and 9th, FTed a $5 hyper for 8th, came 26th in the 5r 2x-turbo, cashed three of the Daily Hot Turbos...pretty confident I'm playing well. Gonna be tough to make it a profitable month from here but it's def still doable. Bring on tomorrow.
