Yeah absolutely, I'm running ridic bad in the late game at the moment so I just gotta win some flips and make those FTs.

awesome thread..I've been sweating some of your final tables, whenever I take a break between sessions..really sick volume you put in, but it's definitely nice to see it paying off..keep crushing, i'll be following!

Thanks man, appreciate the sweat Sorry if I don't have time to reply to chat, chatting is hard when 20-tabling.

Session 46

Today also sucked. Only made 2 180 FTs with my best finish being 3rd. Felt a little under the weather so stuck to turbos, but probably played my B-game rather than A-game. Need to get some sleep and hit it hard tomorrow.

I know my shoving ranges etc and my shortstack game is pretty good thanks to playing 180s, so now I want to take it to the next level. Definitely going to be watching some Daryl Jace videos on TournamentPokerEdge and maybe posting some more hands on here for feedback.
- Continued quality volume - Thanks to the awesome MicroMillions series I have a feeling I'm not gonna take many days off this month. I fell very marginally short of my 4k games goal for February, but I want to step it up again now, so my goal for March will be 5k games.
I just had an idea WRT these two points. I think my obsession with volume is definitely hurting my ROI, and I need to embrace the idea that it's impossible to play so much volume that variance isn't a factor. I certainly don't intend to drop my volume hugely, but I will be forgetting about my volume goal and instead aiming for a 50% ROI, which is roughly double my current combined ROI, during March, across whatever games I play. Obviously that's pretty much impossible at 180s, so in order to achieve that goal I will have to bink some MTTs, which is the fun part.

Considering dropping my max number of tables to around 16, and cutting out some of the 3r and 8/180s - there's also a couple of interesting technical things I've picked up on from some training videos, which I don't want to go into too much detail about until I've tried them out a little bit, but could be very useful.

Dude, if I keep cracking your aces with jacks and busting you a few hands later then please don't leave the 8s! (but seriously, please leave the 8s ) Wp last month. Sicko.

I play too many tables, don't even remember this happening I suppose not noticing bad beats might be a benefit to 20-tabling...

I just want to make sure I'm not autopiloting, which I think I have been doing a little since things picked up and I started running good, and I want to make sure I'm still improving. I've done so much work on shoving ranges and preflop stuff recently I feel like I've probably developed some postflop leaks.

If I play less than 3k games in March, you can drop me

Not sure roi goals are a good idea since this is a variable you have no control over. Volume, study time, max tables etc are all a lot more useful imo.
Setting an roi goal could be demotivating if you start running bad. Gl!

Yeah that's a very good point. I think last night was just me thinking too much.

Session 47

Ran awful again today but battled through. Shipped a 15 and came 2nd in a 3r but still down around 800 on the day. March has started kinda badly but meh, it'll turn around.

Same old, same old...ran pretty awful again today. FTed a 5 hyper but came 7th, deep runs in the 8r and the Big 8 came to nothing. Feel pretty good about how I'm playing, just gotta wait for that rungood to come.
