Session 6a:
This session was about as good as it goes, I flopped a set of Aces got it all in against two pair. Not to much else happened till I had Jx4x in the BB in a limped pot, I check and flop comes J

I lead out for $6 and get one caller from an old guy who doesnt have that big of a stack maybe $145. Turn comes another J

. I bet $15 and Villain calls. River comes the Case J

. Hero tank shoves, Villain calls off $120 and obviously mucks when I show my quads. I Figured I could get him to call off pretty much any pair he had, since I'm a "typical young punk" I end up playing a little more and leaving with a stack of $536! Woo hoo finally running good and getting paid off it feels good!

The charity game is super close to my house so I go home to take a nap before my girlfriend comes over. I get home and my power is still out. This morning it typhooned in the suburbs and the power went out right as I left for work. I am still kinda pumped about my decent session and I decide to go back and sit back down. Sooo here we go
Session 6b:
Session sits down with me moving tables and then moving seats. I move to seat 2 which happens to be the small blind, So I have to post $3 or wait one hand. Well I don't feel like waiting and I am anxious to play so I buy the button for $3. There are 4 limpers when seat 3 who is the button raises it to $10. Hero looks down at J

4

. There's plenty of money on the table and I already have $3 invested (lol) So hero calls the $10 and all the limpers come along. Flop is 7

8

9

. Hero checks V1 checks and it is checked to pre flop raiser V2. He bets $22. Hero tanks and cuts out $55 and raises it. I felt like I could semi bluff and at the same time look super strong with the check raise out of the blinds like I flopped bottom end of straigh ot the 10-6 somehow. V1 snap shoves $156, V2 is obviously disgruntled and He ends up tank folding. V1 seems super strong like he flopped the straight with 10 J. I figure I still have outs and a 10 to the chop so Hero calls $101 more. V1 flips 8

6

so he has a pair and OESFD. turn is Ax and river is a beautiful J

and I win with a pair of Jacks! V2 says he folded 8x8x for middle set on the flop. If its true, I think its a good lay down that was just unfortunatley wrong.
V1 is a middled aged man who is Obviously tilted and he rebought for $100. I raised with AxJx and he just shoved over the top on me, and I reluctantly folded. Then this hand happens. Hero is BB with AA. Same V1 limps and some crazy tweaking monkey terrible player limps. Folds to Hero in the BB and he makes it $18 hoping that tilted V1 will just shove on me, instead he folds and V2 calls (the donkey). Flop comes 10

J

6

. Hero leads out $50 knowing that V2 can't fold a pair or a draw. V2 calls and only has around $50 behind. Turn comes 4

and Hero shoves and V2 snap calls and tables 6x4x. River bricks. NH SIR.
Not to much else happens other than I get in one marginal spot against the Villain that fold his set of 8's on my first hand. 3 people limp to Heros BB. Hero has AxKx and raises it to $13 and all 3 call. Flop comes A

9

3x Hero bets $20 and everyone folds to V1 on button (competant player) who calls the $20. Turn brings another 3, and Hero bets $35. V1 calls. River comes 10

and Hero thinks about shoving but Villain only has around $75 and Hero checks. Villain shoves and hero folds. Against any other player at the table I'm pretty sure I call but for some reason I'm pretty sure I'm behind and I fold.
Pretty much that was the session and I end up a bit.

Woo Hoo only half a buy in down. I feel like I'm starting to make strides at the lower limit games, but not value owning myself to hard (AK hand ehh) and also not bluffing and making to many moves. Most of the players are incompetant and will pay off with marginal hands.
Anywho looking forward to playing again soon hopefully I start getting in the green soon!
