I will be keeping an eye on this thread. Looks interesting with some great advice.
I looked over the math behind making supernova elite playing full ring cash and it's just sickening. You're plan looks pretty solid though and I wish you all the best.

BTW jdawg which oponnet model do u use in sng wiz... I have played with it a little and i see there is a big difference if the guy is calling wide or not on blinds.. .So how the heck should i know how wide they call and if my shove is poriftable? Should i tighten up my shoving/calling range a bit but not too much, as sometimes i have a feeling i am called
wider as wiz says. To a random on 7$ hypers 6max you would give average opponent model? (talking about sng quiz mode).
Btw how many tables do u plan to play on your levels at a time?

Sng wiz is awful man, no joke there. I don't even use it to review that much anymore, i use icmizer + the nash calc. Against the $7 donks I tend to pass some edges just because they call so wide that its -ev for us. Other than that, it's really dependent.

Hoping those responses weren't too redic, kinda sloshed right now with Lori before going out to Olive Garden with my parents, might make for a ridic **** show pending how rowdy either of us get.
Been a great day tho!

You have some sick multi-tabling skills because I could never have reg speeds, turbos, and 6-max Hyper turbos mixed all together at once. I never mix forms of poker at the same time because it throws me off somehow. Not to mention you're playing like double the tables I play.

I'd rather play 125 ST's an hour than 60 ST's and 15 reg speeds, so I know how you feel. It's tough mixing games. You add in so many different situations that you need to make a decision on, almost instantaneously. I don't know how he does it, personally.

Let me go into more detail on this poly as I read my response today after being sober and realized it wasn't that good . Some of my point still stands, I myself don't use sng wiz very often. In terms of playing against $7s with donks, I find that they shove too tight (normally) and call too wide (once again, normally) so you have to adjust for that using whatever tool you're using. Personally, I tend to pass small edges in shove spots bvb on the bubble, especially if there's a shortie that folded OTB and you think that the villain will call too wide. For example...
40/80 blinds, 3 handed
button: 250: folds
Hero: 1100: QJo
BB (loose random): 1650
In this spot, I think shoving ~35% in the sb will be close to EQ range (I didn't look) but if you think this donk in the BB is going to call too wide, I'll just fold QJ here even tho I'd assume Q9o is a shove here. Obviously folding not thinking of it as being an edge pass, but if he calls too wide, that shove with QJo can become -ev.
When I study, I normally load said HH into sng wiz, then hit "send to nash calc", then put it into ICMizer and use the latter 2 to actually study the hand, I rarely use wiz anymore looking at close spots.
Oh and to answer your question about the # of tables I usually keep up, I plan on PS to keep ~20-25 6max hypers/sng's up and then have my MTT's added in.

Yea in response to you both, I'd love to be able to just play 1 game type, but I won't be able to get in enough volume doing that, so I'm gonna have to figure out a 2nd game to add in. After talking to a friend and then getting ILS007's opinion, I think it's most likely going to be 18 mans that I add in as there's not much postflop play in them (compared to adding in other 6max turbos/reg speeds), and decent ROI's are still attainable even at the $30s for decent-good regs and also because they still load reasonably quick which is certainly nice. I might look into playing fifty50's as well, but as I said, I've never played one before so I'll have to try some out once I get to Mexico and see how I like them.
During my primetime sessions, I'll be able to keep up the # of hyer's that I need to, but by the end of my 2nd sesh and my entire 3rd sesh (if i stick to a somewhat human schedule), the volume will drop off to where there's only ~1.25 hyper's popping per minute.

Well, had a great day yesterday and only spent $150 which was pretty sick since we were at the mall for about 3 hrs. By the time we were getting ready to head out to dinner with my fam at Olive Garden, Lori and I were both pretty buzzed, made for a fun dinner though .
Anyway, I think I'll put in some volume today as long as something IRL doesn't pop up. Pretty sure I'll be lucky to sneak in 1 session this entire weekend so I'd like to get in some volume today.
Glgl to everyone playing

Hey Jdawg...
I have a question about game analysis, what do you think of the $EV Won (in HEM)? Does this have any value? Example: played 1000 games with 9% of the games show a negative $EV number - would this be a good indicator you are playing some what correctly?
Also, any reason why it seems the top 5 players on the leaderboard are having pretty sizable down swings at the same time?

GL Jdawg! You are an inspiration to all the microgrinders everywhere.
Hope you hit SNE on PS and looking forward to the best not on Merge anymore. One open spot on the SNG leaderboard.
Your blog is great keep it up. Dont drink the water down there, have fun and keep on grinding.

Idk, I don't really take the EV lines all that seriously in HEM and I don't look into the data in it very much. The redline and green line will usually converge in the long run, but people also look at Cev in HEM wrong. For example, if you're a 180er, and you win a flip at T20 for 75 bb's (starting stack) and then lose a 75 bb flip at T200 (pretty impossible but im just making a point), it's going to say you ran a ****ton under EV. So people don't look at the numbers properly is basically what I'm saying...you also have people looking at EV adjusted #'s trying to justify their play style or w/e, when instead they should just buckle down and work on improving.
And honestly I'm not sure, probably random variance occurrence tbh and maybe slightly these guys playing badly due to being tired at the end of the month or playing too many tables etc. Haven't really looked at anything on Merge the past week

Thx, appreciate the <3. And lolll yea, I definitely won't drink the water down there, I drank tap water in Australia and got really ****in sick, so since then haven't drank tap water much at all, and definitely haven't in any other countries I've been too in Europe the last few years.

You're all good, ive been getting a lot of hate lately from different random posters with low post counts, im assuming most of them are gimmicks but it just gets old. Plus most of them say something like what you said in that thread which for one is a pretty poor attempt at a troll, and for two, just plain isnt true.

Hmmm, so today's been a productive day. 2 hr nap, followed by some RL errandsand a lunch date, followed by sitting on my computer doing nothing the last 4 hrs lol. W/eeee, break right before leaving to start an epic grind isn't the worst thing.
Prolly gonna play MW2 in ~5.5 hrs when my buddy gets off work til about 4 or 5am, pm me gamertag if you wanna play a bit; haven't played much CoD lately so I might be badddd but w/e.

Hey Jdawg,
Do you have any advice on how to play a session for like 4 hours? I tried to do this at the $1.50 6man hypers and burnt out after just an hour.
Some great advice building up in this thread. Keep up the good work!
