Keep it up Jdog. Dont know how you push such massive and consistent volume. Better luck with the next milli stack.
Hit me up on Skype with a time. Have a couple coaching sessions scheduled over the next three days and want to make sure I don't conflict.

I openship the A9 unless they're very aggro and have a wide reshipping range (=decent regs). Otherwise A9o isn't really crushing their light shoving range. Also depends on whether we are at the FT or not.
haven't played mtts in a while though

You think you might play some of the newly added hyper-turbo mtts??
(Variance)^2
11-28-2011 , 08:08 PM
Not gonna comment on peoples comments about the hand, I stand behind my play in this spot although r/c and r/f certainly viable options, just with this table I didn't think it was the optimal play.

Gonna be taking a nap soon so I can get up and get ready for the grindddd tomorrow which will start at 9pm PST. Will be trying my best to finish super high (top 4) on the "low" ring game leaderboard playing 100nl cap. Gonna have food and drinks lined up and my planned sched is 2 11 hr sessions with a 2hr nap in the middle of the day. Read below in my response to pabloisgod to know why I'm playing cap a couple times this week

Haven't even seen them yet, but if they're 9 max, I won't play them. I think 9max hyper's are the most ******ed thing ever, have stated that before in the MTT discussion thread; it's way more naturally flowing 6max.

Meh not true, I'm testing it out this week because of the ring game leaderboard which is a ton of extra value for high volume grinders + tons of vpps, if I happen to like cap (I've played ~100k hands of cap lifetime and am b/e without studying it too in depth), I might consider switching to it for my monday-friday grind and then play hypers with mtt's on saturday and sundays.

But as of right now, my cap sessions are strictly just for this week to get a ton of vpp's and to finish high on the ring game leaderboard 2-3 times in the next 4 days.

Are you talking about moving to cap fulltime instead of hypers?

Yes possibly, but don't even wanna get into it until I play a few sessions this week. The 1 and only reason I'm playing cap this week is because of the ring game LB promotion, if there's any time to randomly attempt to grind cap (I don't count my 100k hands of cap I've played before as a real "grind"), now would be the time to do it since I'll get a **** ton of VPP's to catch up on 200k pace and even if I get 3rd on the LB, that's still $640 right there

    ______________________________________________

About 1 hr til I start my session, eating right now and then gotta finish getting **** together for the sesh.

Here's a link to the promo where you guys can rail the LB, the leaderboard updates about 20 mins past every hour to have current #'s.
    http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/prom...ab=1&id=5#tabs

Will def be interesting to see if I can put in a giant session 24 tabling cap, if I feel it's going south in terms of my concentration level, I will not hesitate stopping, especially if it's early in the day. Like I've said a few times, this was a pretty random, spew of the moment decision, but with the leaderboard $'s, its certainly a good idea to try right now this week IMO.

And gg cap, realized it wasn't really that fun + my redline was really bad albeit small sample (12k hands today so far). W/e, I'm glad I gave it a go; this was definitely the time to try it with LB $'s there. With my score already I'll def get a freeroll ticket into that 500k freeroll, so that's good anyway . My edge in $30 hypers is small, but definitely bigger than cap NL IMHO; glad I tried it out to make sure though, wanna be doing what's best for the SNE grind

Won $'s pre RB, +$146 to be exact so that's cool, EV line was way negative though so getting out before the variance bites me in the ass .

Gonna go back to bed and will try to get up in ~5 hrs to start grinding hypers/mtt's.

Made myself a new avatar today, isn't written as cleanly as my "I Spite Call" avatar but w/e, made it in less than about 90 seconds

think i am gonna start one at some point. just did a small interview with a site so prolly will start it with that and go from there.

need more stripclub trip reports in this one though
Could be really interesting ,staking done correct is a real grind.Makes grinding at the tables look easy, imo.

I do it on my own ,but even with a partner/partners it would still be pretty tough, imo.

Maybe I could do one to ,as Zima's thread would be the only one in here with a lot of staking stories. His would most likely be a lot better than mine ,but i'm sure I could still get a few laughs and give him some healthy competition.........

Woke up a bit later than I wanted to, was planning on being up at 9am but didn't end up waking up til 9:55 am so late reg'd the big 22 real quick before late reg ended and then got in a few turbos and dealt with business on skype and started loading hypers around 10:30am and have played 2 ~90 game sessions, plan on getting in another 100-300 more hypers in pending how long I load today.

Have run like dog**** in mtt's but whatevs, mtt variance is ridic so gotta put in a lot of volume to have it even out.

Pretty funny though, even while crushing hypers so far today I STILL run under EV lulz.

Just got really ****ing tilted when River Prayer (Gramps on 2p2) spited the **** out of me on the bubble of a $30. Unless he thought his call was good...but it wasn't. I'll post the hh in question; QTo is a call against 100%, Q8o is certainly not. Had to quit loading as I don't ever get mad while playing and I through 2 water bottles; gonna just chill out and finish this $44 turbo and put food in oven this past sync break...might be done for the night or might play 1 more session later tonight.

And obv ran under EV even while making good money

And then here's my HEM graph from game ~2500 to today, after game 2500 I felt like I had plugged a bunch of my leaks early game and since then, my redline ROI is nearly 2% which is nice considering how many tables I play.
