I ended up playing a bit more today. 1080 hands and -$23 for the whole day.

Hand 46: I screwed up my bet sizing. $12 would be a bit better on the turn so I don't have more than pot on the river. (The pot sizes here are before rake but on the table rake is already taken out)

Thank you very much sir. I will post more giraffes for you soon.

I was away for a few days but now I'm back and I hope I can play a lot in the next few days to make up for the lost time.

Hand 52: Villain was 33/24 with 20% 3bet. I was very confused by his check/call and then shove on the river and I'm still not sure if my call was good.

Re: 1 million hands of ZOOM by September

Hey man, do you mind if I ask you about 10NL?
For some reason you didn't manage to win at 10nl over a decent sample but somehow you seem to be playing as high as 50nl. Any ideas why this is?

Also, I got another question. I've been beating 5NL for like EV 10bb/100 for around 100k hands now but seems like everytime I take a shot at 10NL I get owned even though personally I don't see much skill difference. Any advice for what I can do about this, seeing as you seem to have overcome the same problem as me.

I have an EV of -13bb over the last 5k hands at 10nl so you could argue maybe it's just sample size.

Would appreciate the help, thx.

I'm playing 50NL on Party but stuck at 10NL on iPoker and ZOOM. I've beat 10NL on Party as well as normal games on Stars so it might just be a difference in skill or play styles on different sites and different games.

I'm not sure what advice to give since if I knew what I was doing wrong I would be doing better, but I think as long as you don't get discouraged and continue learning things will work out eventually.

Not right now but if I go busto I will get a job.

I played about 3000 hands today. I got a new monitor so I was playing a few more tables than usual. Before I found it hard to play more than 6 since after that tables overlapped but I was playing up to 9 today and I wasn't forgetting the action or timing out like I would have before.

Re: 1 million hands of ZOOM by September

Played a session of 100PLH, 91 hands, down $4.52. Not very many exciting hands... the following hand was the biggest that I was in and I was never up or down more than $20.

Hand 58: BTN is 69/31, 24% 3bet, 0% fold to 3bet and PTR says he only started playing on the site last week. I'm not sure if I should bet on the flop. Against a reg I definitely wouldn't but the fish might call multiple streets with weaker pairs and he also probably doesn't cbet much.

I just play whatever I can make money at. The games are pretty much the same since overbetting isn't a big deal at micros. Same with full ring games, although I prefer 6max, I just sit wherever I think I can win.
