Why you think he is?

I have no idea if he is or not, to me it feels like since you were not a winner right away at 200z or something that nobody should be

Its possible he is a winner, Its also possible he isnt but we cant really know that

ofc he can beat 200z, he plays perfect GTO. If Clanty and OtB played HU they'd both lose to take

If you want to go pro / are already you should improve with volume. With such volume your downswings will last pretty long when you hit them. Obviously it gives good vibes to post graphs while upswinging and take shots playing very minimal tables and volume but when the downswing hits it lasts quite long, take my word!

Nothing wrong with being delusional of own skills I did it plenty of times aswell.
You are right, I'm not going to deny it; I cannot prove I beat 200z and I do need to pick up the volume. Hopefully, in time, I'll be able to correct upon them both

And I don't think I am delusional about my "own skills". If you knew me, you'd know how hard I berate myself when I do stupid **** at the tables!

This community just alot of times gets very friendly cause most people posting here want to see some hands played at higher than their usual limit is, (5nl or 10nl 25nl max). When they see some fancy hands they start to admire someone and thats the point people get delusional. Most people need some "authority" to determine themselves how good they are. If the authority is these people here you easily get carried away. I thought Im awesome and even started couching some guy when I was like 5bb winner at 200z after like 70k hands sample. The truth was that I was likely worse than breakeven that time.

.. But to be fair I think OP is better than average 100z reg and thats an accomplishment already, but to make consistently money need to play hands.
Like I said, time will tell.

Also, a Poker coach doesn't need to be a world class player, they just need to have a good understanding about the game, and a good etiquette/methodology of imparting it. This is proven pretty much anywhere outside of Poker.

(No offence) I agree with Fayth on this, I pretty much said it for verbatim in a Skype convo before it was posted.

ITT: People that get invited to a party and spend the whole time discussing and denigrating the host. In earshot of the host.

I have no idea if you can beat 200NLz long term, Clanty, but I hope you do. I was enjoying the thread until the weirdness ensued. Good luck with your goals!

I was just adding to the bs since people were making assumptions based on no evidence. It seems pretty pointless to say whether you're a winner at 200z or not when no one really knows

I do only see winning graphs so far but we need a very big sample size. Half a million hands should do it. I hear 200z is extremely hard to beat and so any small hand sample should be treated with caution.

Yeah agree with this a lot.

Same with things like teaching (as well as most things). The best teacher isn't the one who came first in their class in their chosen topic at university. It's not just about how good you are at the topic but how good you are at passing down and explaining the given piece of information.

I mean from my experience of going to a public school there was a weighting on getting teachers who went to Oxbridge etc. In fact one of the worst teachers (in many peoples eyes) was someone who got a first class degree in Chemistry but they were terrible at explaining concepts and didn't have any relatability to who they were teaching.

Anyway gl with the coaching and gl with poker

Any further idea as to where you will live soon?

Precisely that.

Coaching is going really well, although it is early days!

Still not sure where I would like to move to. I am yet find out which countries don't tax poker like the UK. Does anyone know of any links that let me know which countries do and do not?

I wouldn't focus on the fact of being IP/OOP, I would focus on opponents range in each individual spot and go from there.

Should be a good option for you, no?

Glad you enjoyed it . I'm surprised you get that vibe off me, as I feel that I can be too quiet and not give smooth commentary when streaming.

I'm still undecided on if I will, a buddy of mine gave me an offer recently to move away with him and a friend next month. Problem is that my Nan isn't too well (I live with her), and I would feel guilty moving away to "live the life" whilst she suffers.
