Definetly, 500z pool isn't so tough IMO.

Villain wasn't a z500 reg, I had only 50 hands of him, but he looks to be a normal tables breakeven reg.

We have to be realistic, when we face a shove on a spot like this one, most of the ppl have the nuts like 99% of the times. Even if he's shoving A8s,K8s as a bluff we have 30% eq, and we need 36% to be +EV. I'm not gonna think he's thinking about overbluffing me because he think's I'll be folding fullhouse. I'm not gonna give him that credit. I don't think he's that good. So, basicaly, I don't give a **** about not being balanced on this spot. Z500 against most ppl is just **** GTO.
I mean, do you really think some random reg is bluffing frequently here? The story always is: Ok, A6, top range, I have to call... I call. Oh, 88/KK/AA. What a surprise.

It's gonna be fun when z500 buddies read this post.

Come here and exploit me .

Cheers .

Sorry I didn't answer you. I was bad, A6 is a much better call than 88, because I guess most (or every) BU bluffs will contain an 8, and having 88 we reduce dramaticaly his bluffs.

Ahh OK that makes sense. I am no where near good enough to think about that in hand, but hey it's good to know haha.

Nice fold anyway! I agree that being GTO in these very particular spots is not the highest EV, and contradicting game theory probably plays best against these specific villains.

66 is quads and loses to nothing

88 loses to quads KK and AA 7 combos. Discount a ton of KK combos we lose to AA and quads 4 combos.

A6 loses to 88 AA KK. That's 9 combos, we chop A6 and beat K6.

Are we looking at the same hand.

It's not tough midstakes at the hours OP and other posters play, 4-5 handed with 1-2fish per table.

Even innerspy breakevens at these hours.

Sure thing we are overfolding a dramatic amount in that paticular spot but this down there is what most ppl playing the pool are simply missing out (me included for sure):

Anyone who has played 500z for at least 50k hands will notice this and playerpoolexploits >>> GTO for some degree there.
There's a ton of money to be made with big folds like this because most ppl are underbluffing and just sit in there, 4tabling and wait to get some coolers happen.
There are a few exceptions, maybe guys like SirDonald etc., but thats just because they have a very different gameplan compared to the population who are indeed very nitty in these spots.

I know it's hard to discuss hands when ppl talk about tendencies, reads and exploits but can we just discuss like human beings pls?

Getting really sick of this whole blabla about who can be the most arrogant d1ck out there when it comes to some strategy.

Pretty much all my volume is 6max, I've only played a few times at "the hours" you mention. I think z500 is good to play at any hour almost always.

A6 and K6 are pretty bad shoves, because of me having 88 in my range.

Another stupid day at the office. Running as usual. I made 1 bad call, and then they coolerd me nonstop like here: https://www.weaktight.com/h/57bf65e2d39043dc658b46d9

Running is being pretty stupid, but what can I do? Let's keep playing hands and it's going to change one day . I'm missing some spots and I could be doing better, but I'm feeling very good about how I'm handling the downswing.

It's gonna change. You just wait.

Thanks again for all the good vibes!

Hey Pastorito!! too bad to see youre runnin like this, but i watched your play a lot and i feel like its going up soon! Good luck man!

Little question in the A6 hand: Would it made it a call if runnout was 866KA (instead on AK)???

Nope, in that case is even worse, because in the 866AK runnout maybe he's folding some KK combos and now he isn't.

Today like for the 1st time since I started the challenge I had preflop coolers for me . QQ > JJ, AA > JJ, KK > QQ, QQ > JJ (50bb), this: https://www.weaktight.com/h/57c0690cd39043326a8b469f

And results were ... -900$ EV. How bad am I? huh. ****.

Playing bad and Missing a lot of spots, I'm pretty angry.

My NSD are going to hell and it's definetly a thing, I'm gonna take the weekend to review my game a lot.

Things at the moment:

Hands: 19285
EV: -$3705

Look that red line. I suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

Well well well, tonight I have a costume party and I'm "Buddy" from Toy Story & my gf is some girl of Toy Story too xD.

Let's de-stress a little bit on the weekend and come back on monday looking for those fu5king 5evbb's.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeha!

See you in 3 days <3.

You're dressed up a character called "Woody", I think you'll find.

At least seeing a crusher like you going through a rough stretch makes me feel a better about my month. I'm sure you'll turn it around through. Glgl!
