gg predator. also, do you guys play any available game or do you try and grind the lower levels for a few days and build your tickets that way. ive been playing any available game isntead of building my tickets at each level but its getting really tilting every time i bust out of a 5 or 6.

I basically shove my step 1 and 2s while I play my higher tickets whenever available. by doing this I got a safety net in case I do bust in a higher step. if you save them then it takes longer for the latter steps to fill, and you want more higher levels to run so more 6's can run which means more money. Just put in volume, I always have atleast 2 step 3, 4, 5, and 6 tickets unless i have a horrid day. Also try to run as higher levels at same time which helps.

+1 ...u always want to have deeper tickets because those steps does not run so often.. so when the deeper steps doesn t run u should grind lower steps.. p.s. sspoker i have like 4-5 normal or good players tagged at minted steps and u re one of them but u TILT too much and u tilt at deeper steps.. (i think i ve seen u doing that like 2-3 times for sure) deal with that and u ll have much more succes.. good luck

haha yea ive definitely tilted off a few 5 and 6s. most of the time when it looks like im tilting tho its just me trying to end the last few games of a session.

p.s. i just finished 4th at the step 6 third time in a row... it would be so frustrating if i didn t have good days like i did..

Played another 5 dollar freeroll frenzy, 243 entrants, got 1st place for a whopping 1.20
2 1st places in 1 week. Sucks that it took 4 hours to finish this tourny, meaning I made .30 an hour.

Quick update:

My volume has been lol. I'm still on Carbon.. I played 10 step1's a few days back, then another 10 the next day. Played all my step 2's, then step 3's the following day. Made $2. Ran horrible in 11c hypers and .02/.04 FL. Down to like 13c, won a hyper, won some more, and started $4 NL short stacking. Ran well, up to $10.

Started playing the $2 HU Hyper SnG's... WOW they are soft. Made some $ there, tried out the $4's, and so far, they are even softer. I'm something like 8-0 at the $4's.

BR at ~$32.

Nice run. But wait for the variance. It can be brutal.

30BI @ $28's+

I have no problem dropping down if I fall below BI req's. Variance is always a real issue with aggro BRM.. Just have to play well and hope to run good in the beginning.

Bounced around for awhile in the $2's, hung around $30 for awhile, and decided to take a shot.

Played $10NL and ran well, BR is now $42.

great job sir.. only thing i don t like is "aggressive BRM"... why would u do that?? i mean in my opinion u re actualy saying: "i want a lot of money right now immediately" and that usually doesn t works.. we all now that only way of making money is smart BRM and slow patient grind.. "aggressive BRM" is just an excuse for i want a lot of money right now.. VARIANCE can be super brutal and people who are using that sistem usually (there are exceptions) goes broke very fast because they always want more and more at every point no matter what stakes they are playing...
anyways just wanted to help and recommend what would i do (and what i did) whatever.. either way if u change ur aggressive BRM thing or u don t i hope u ll make a lot of money

Sure, I understand BRM; I've done the whole 100BI rule thing before. But this $$ is meaningless at such a negligible amount. But at the same time I'm planning on doing shot taking right. Nothing wrong with taking a 5-10 BI shot if you can be disciplined to move down and grind it out if it doesn't go well.. But I do appreciate the input!

I'm still playing on merge; br @ 30$ after 1700 games. Playing mostly 1$ double ups now, running at 15% roi so far over ~80 games. Much better than my 3% roi @ 11cent supers over 1600 games. Wish I hadn't grinded them for so long now. Goal is 100$ bankroll by the end of the month and 250$ by 2012. GL at the tables all!

Hey guys, decided to try online poker and to start with this. 35 step 3 vouchers at the moment.

I've never done online poker... Everyone keeps talking about rake back. What is this, and should I use it/how?

I know I'm a fish :s. Haven't been involved in online poker ever. Stuck to live/house games, I'm a mediocre player. Hoping to improve I'm young, haha.

Thanks! Normally 2-3 tables at a time (HU). I take notes on every player I play since the player base is so small, then sometimes hunt the ones that are easy to beat. Idk, I thought carbon was like stars where you just move up the VIP ladder to get rb?

If you had openned your account before March I believe, you would have been on a rb deal. I hear the v.i.p. program actually pays more but the rb deal gets paid daily. Either program is actually really good.
