this is one of the toughest sng's i've played in a LONG time - wtf?? this is a funstep?? - anyway once the donks were gone it was down to 4 pretty solid players (i guess i'm graciously putting myself in that) with about equal stacks - its gone on for quite some time now - down to 3 and i am barely in 1st - will keep you posted!!

ok it was a tough game - very strange - but enjoyable!! i got 1st.

so out of the 10 step ones this morning i won:

6 step 2s

then out of 6 step 2s i won:

4 step 3s.

will play the step 3s tonight.

Thanks for the support man! I must say I had an easier start since I switched over to Hero at the beginning to play the plo freeroll sngs. Figured they would easier to get me going. Let me know when you are going to play the 11 cent super turbos. I would love to have a friendly competion at those for a week or so. Keep up the good work!

I've been doing this the last couple of months. Won 2 funstep3s and have been grinding 11cent super turbos ever since. I'm up to 11$ after 900 games+ a 2.20 cent satellite ticket I won in a freeroll. Once I get up to ~20$ I'm switching to 1$ double ups. Sucks that merge doesn't have anything good in between these levels. The 10 cent rake on a turbo 50cent sit n go is totally ridic, so I've stayed away from those as it's probably tough to beat the game by much with rake that high. If you like MTTs the sixth cent is a pretty good one to play with a micro roll (5cent+1cent with one 5 cent rebuy). Usually gets 400+ entrants. Anyways, gl and sorry for the wall of text.

maybe you should just call with any random hand when the all-ins go on. You'll lose a lot, but when you win, you'll be in good shape.

there is absolutely no reason to do this. a few usually do this right away and someone ends up with a big stack (in the step 1 and 2s anyway) - if you are patient and wait for hands -these guys will double you up anyway - with less variance as the first levels of all ins. usually the chip leader after the first hand has 3 or 4 grand after knocking out a few people - but this guy rarely makes the top 3 to move on actually. and if he does - he continues to get lucky knocking out players left and right - just stay out of his way - and then you move on.

FUN STEP ONE'S went worse than I've ever run?!

Played 7 so far and this is how they went:
1- all in preflop 1st hand KK < A3
2- out 6th - AK<J10 (he rzd all in pre for 25bbs - sick)
3- out 5th - QQ<66
4- After I flop set of 888s - guy ships from 200 to 4200 with overs - he hits running flush backdoor -
5- 4th my QQ < AA (got pretty cold on that hand but at least I lost to better hand)
6- 4th I raise my AA - big stack ships I call - results - my AA<AQ??

7- YEA I WON ONE????

wtf - I usually run about 70+% in step one and two - lol - oh well have 3 more step 1 then go from there.

And I'm avg chips in horse!

lol. i work in event management (on major events - like superbowls - olympics - major political events - etc.)

usually when i'm home - i'm home (and usually playing at commerce or hawaiin gardens) - and when i'm at work - i'm at work (working 16-20 hour days)... my life is pretty good i guess!

1 month for superbowl...
2 months for ncaa final four...
2 months on pga championships...
1 month for nba finals...
etc etc etc

with 3 and 4 week projects peppered in like Gold Cup Soccer - or what I'm currently working on (a political event coming up in hawaii)...

also travel many times a year as consultant - like i'm back in forth to england some these days as a consultant for the olympic games coming up in 2012.

my days these past few days i've just had conference calls for the upcoming hawaii trip - along with a LOT of emails... this is why i'm messing around with this little challenge. i have to be home for the calls and emails -etc - so i'm not out at commerce or wherever.

so i guess - I AM AT WORK!

and i'm not sure if you would want to do it - when it's on - it's CRAZY!

holy sh*** the sick run bad was out in force today on the step 1 donkathons... just played last 3 of day...

1 - came in 5th after the maniac who shuved every single hand from the start - taking out people left and right - i just waited - caught AA - called him - flopped set but lost to his 29off suit - when he caught running wheel?! lol all good i guess

then i won the next two

2 - 1st for step 2 ticket
3 - 1st for step 3 ticket.

That means my net for step 2 tickets from the 10 free step ones was THREE??!! Oh well.
