Poker is getting harder, that's for sure, but i want to show you, that you can accomplish everything if you're just work hard enough.

I'll be playing only cash games zoom at pokerstars, starting from the bottom (2nl) and going for that symbolic 10k.

I am gonna try to grind 2-5k hands per day, depends on my mood.

I will post some graphs every few k hands.

I am gonna use pretty normal bankroll managment (ofc that start with 10 buy ins is pretty crazy) but after that, i think 40-50 buy ins is enough when you know how to move down on stakes.

This challenge is only for me to get more motivation and happiness and if it helps you somehow, then it will be additional reward for me.

Hey, today im not feeling well, have a headache and it can be a start of a disease, so i just play only 2 hour session. I hope tomorrow everything gonna be alraight and finally get some volume.

So guys, im ill dont play at all, just laying at bed and praying to get better, but the good thing is that graph just go in right direction and when i get better, im gonna put some volume

Ok guys, so now i fell better, while i was ill i talk to some poker pros and they told me to just take aggresive shots at micros, bs rake is rly high. And i did it, decited to play 2 tables of zoom 5nl and if i lost 2 buy ins, just move down, but i manage to get like 4 buy ins up and decided to try this "card match" promotion, so i jumped in 10nl zoom (again, move down if i lose 2 buy ins), but i run hot and manage to make profit too. So graph look like this:

now im gonna play 5nl (20 buy ins) and try to make this card match promotions everyday

How long did it take you to play these 7.3k hands?

To be honest, it was like 10 hours... It should be motivation challenge and for now it doesn't look like one

Crazy to think you played that in 10hrs when it would take you almost 300hrs to get this volume in a live game.

Hey guys, unfortunately i have to stop my challenge for a while, because i have to write a thesis to get my engineer and the deadline is like 2 months so im gonna focus only on this for now, and get back to this challenge after that, gl at the tables! peace!

Little update, is rly hard to write a thesis all day long, so i decided to take some breaks and play poker. So bankroll look like this:


I have now a bankroll to stay at 5nl, and move to 10nl at 200-250$.

Little update, im concerned about my red line, i mean i guess im not rly playing my best poker and that's why this line is pretty steady (watching some tv while playing and not thinking about every spot as i should)

Do not pay attention to red line as you green&orange lines goes straight up. One does not need a positive red line.

I cant agree with that, it's not hard to play poker with a good scheme (playing ranges, position, waiting for mistake from a opponent) and have a green line goes straight up, but i think the most important thing is to maximize your profit, and to do that, you have to play poker like a chess, find a optimal move based on information you got. For me that's the diffrence between best players and normal regs. If you're paying attention to make a best move, your red and blue line should grow aswell.

Update - first 20k hands:


I had a long 10nl session, down a little bit at start (just a coolers, pretty normal spots) if i will drop 1 more buy in i would back to 5nl, so im glad that didin't happend and i manage to get it back after all . Im happy about my challenge so far (have like ~20bb/100 at this point). Now im just gonna grind 10nl to like a 700$ and after that try a 25NL (maybe i will do some shots at 500$).

I have to agree that you should work on your red line. You are missing some value here for sure.

Ye you're right, but im playing zoom w/o a HUD, and i dont have rly much informations about microstakes players, so it's rly hard to get this red growing. Im trying to do the best move, and still is not enough, and i have a impression that microstakes players, are making loose calls and barrelling tighter.

You are using poker tracker to keep stats but aren't using the HUD feature? Why is that?
