Nah most of it was very ambitious, you can check sharkscope but i didnt make nearly as much, i didnt work as much as i thought, had too much overconfidence and didnt have sufficient knowledge in habit and willpower.Dont want to sound like i make excuses, its reality. I was much more focused on learning about self-development. Will explain it in my post

Nah offtime im studying a lot of brain science by myself, reading books and watching talks, tedx, trying to learn the important things first. I quit polyphasic, i was just testing it out, seems a bit hard of a habit to implement and its not that important, better focus on big things.

UPDATE.. FINALLY!

I was slacking a lot with this blog. There were quite some setbacks in last months for me, my family is struggling financially so had to cash out most of my bankroll to help them out and move back down, had some health issues and also not doing so well at the tables last month so it all made it much more stressful.

Looking at this blog i had quite some ambitious goals, most of them failed. I dont mind it that much, since i focused a lot on learning and self-development. Tried out a lot of things, most didnt work since i didnt have the right mindset, understanding of habit forming, willpower dynamics etc.

Last two months i was reading and learning a lot, gonna make some cliffs of what i figured out and how im proceeding from now on.

Self Development

So im introducing this new format, im gonna record videos of what i learn throughout my journey and put it online. I learn best by explaining so this is how im gonna do it whether someone watches it or not.
I would appretiate comments and criticism, tell me what you like / dont like about it, share your thoughts and ideas so we can improve faster.

1. Knowing yourself ( book: Peter Drucker: "Managing oneself")

Cliffs:
Ask yourself these questions:
1. What are my strenghts? (what did i do last 20 years, what do other people compliment me for, etc)
2. How do i perform? (reading or listening, introvert / extrovert, etc.)
3. What are my values? (work, knowledge, art, science, contribution, family, friends, romance etc.)

I suggest reading druckers book, one of the best books there is.

2. Evolution and simulating future

Books ( to read, didnt finish)
David Buss: "Evolutionary psychology"
Richard Dawkins: "The selfish gene"

Cliffs:

* You are the result of hundreds of thousands years of human evoultion
* Change is the law of life, learn and adapt constantly
* Simulate future: learn from other people's mistakes > your mistakes , it can save you decades of trial and error. Dont listen to ******s saying: "you have to go through **** yourself" no you dont, learn from the best, read books, evolve

3. Willpower, habits and awareness

Books:
Daniel Goleman: Focus
Daniel Kahneman: Thinking fast and slow
Roy F. Baumeister: Willpower

* Willpower is finite resource, use if efficiently ( i was guilty of that a lot)
* Fixate on rewards:
positive - get what you want ( your purpose, ideas / vision, some materialistic things)
negative - dont get what you dont want ( being broke, unhappy, overweight, etc)
*increase frequency ( 3x 5min study > 30min study)
*be constantly aware of your thoughts, emotions and action - heavy growth of willpower and self-control

4. Tai Lopez

I was watching a lot of videos of a guy named Tai Lopez. He's multimillionaire, very intelligent, hangs out with all the top people from business and science and reads tons of books (1k+ lifetime). Im currently in his self-development program and its invaluable. I recommend everyone to check out his youtube, there is insane amount of gold knowledge there, i havent seen anywhere on the internet that much quality information in one place. He also has this 67 day self development program im currently in and the investment was invaluable, probably the best investment in my life.

Poker

CHALLANGE DAYS : 67 - 127 ()

As you can see, not much volume / profits. All the rl things contributed to this, also some mental game issues came back so im working hard on that. One things that is crucial and i didnt realize that before is that you just cant change habit in a week. I felt like i "fixed" some mental game issues when i worked on them but they came back when i started losing, right now im sticking with hard mental game development, trying to work on it for next 2 months really focus on fixing mistake tilt, understanding variance and having a stronger and more realistic mindset.

So current goals are:
*Build 5000$ bankroll Until 1.8.
*Resolve mental game issues
*Double down on strategy and volume.

Will update much more from now on, hope you'll get something out of all this. Gl everyone

QUICK UPDATE

Yooo guys how's going?
There are few reasons i was not updating. I want to put on quality stuff here and since i had quite some unanswered questions with self development and holes in my work ethic i needed to go back to research and figure some stuff out. I want to provide only the best things here and i havent seen as much progress as i wanted to so i had to find solutions for that. I've gotten a ton of insights in last 2 months which im gonna share with you in the near future.

Currently im on a heavy grind, trying to go for 200 games/day and grind up my roll. Plan is to move to cash games and join BPC when i have a stable 4k bankroll + liferoll. Im halfway there atm.

I expect to finish it in a month or so and then im gonna put some epic effort in this blog / videos so you get some good stuff out of it!

Gl y'all!

Hey Lugia, great discussion you got going here! Definitely seen you a lot on the tables as a grinder of this stakes myself, although not so successful as you haha

I'm wondering about the Tai Lopez thing, what did you think about his 67 steps program now that you've done it? I'm wondering if it's worth and if I should enter myself..would like to hear your opinion!

Cheers from Brazil!

Looking at direct money value it was worth it. It has a great structure on unlocking one video per day so it was a great daily routine to have. I usually start my mornings by working on my mindset and doing meditation so it was a good combo.
Honestly, i think there is enough free stuff on his youtube channel, and i also have a youtube playlist where i gathered all the great videos if you are into mindset improving so you can check that here: Mindset playlist

August recap

Hey guys long time no see. Like i said the reason i missed few months of report is because i wanted to deliver good content and i didnt have it at my disposal

Last month went fine, volume could be much better but its improvement for sure, not only with grind but with mindset in general. I feel much more motivated now to push for my goals.

August results:
Profits: 726$
Rakeback: 111$

Graph:

Self - development

I had a lot of insights last few months so im gonna put some time in sharing it with you.

1. Visualization

As i do quite some meditation, it affects the overall daily awareness and conscious experience. But even with a lot of practice more of your 90% of your daily activities are still subconscious (washing teeth, drinking , habits ). What visualization does is actually reprograms your subconscious the way you want and in that way changes the habitual subconscious responses. Its explained nicely in this video so im not gonna go too deep into it. I practiced it for a few days and i already managed to pull 10+ hours grind without much problem so its a very strong habit to aquire

2. Psychological evolution

So this is actually what i tried to construct last year or so. Im very interested in the topic of self development but its not a simple thing since every person is stuck on a different level. Last few days this guy made a video that explains the progression of it and it makes a **** lot of sense. I also understood that last year was this big struggle from my addictive system thinking to global actualization. You can see it by my results i was writing and talking a lot more than i was actually putting time into poker and getting to financial independance.
For you interested in it check it out

Moving on - Cash games

After quite some though i decided to move from Sng. Even with sick grind and mixing formats i dont see making 100k / year viable and that is the goal i want to reach next year. Moving to mtt would make it but the variance is so high that im not willing to take the risk.

I've done some research and it seems that playing midstakes cash games is by far the most profitable thing so im moving to that. Im still in the process of getting coach, good rb deals and stuff so ill report when ive done with all that.

Gl all my fellow grinders! More fish for you from now on

Yo guys long time no see. Been working on some mental game stuff lately with a group of people and we found a crazy brain hack so i hope you'll check it out. Its literally Jared Tendler's "Inject Logic" on steroids, it insta fixes all your mental game issues, downswings stop affecting you , you become much more focused, structured, productive etc. Its just surreal.

Here is the documentary about it and theres a link to website for more info in the description

Also heres my review about how i went through the process

Hope you check it out and GL at the tablez
