Close call one tabling this. I love this tournament. Came in 2/9 but lost a massive flip 5 handed to the guy who won for like 60% of chips in play.

Hello all,

First of all apologies for not posting till now, mate. I am now subbed and won't miss much.

John "SHAMWOWW" (real fans know it's all caps) Shamon is my best poker friend. We met a couple of years ago on Skype and started talking strategy, buying the odd piece of each other in small MTTs and staying up late to rail top tier sickos. All this went with betting and then sharing buckets of chicken in last-longers over Skype, very bromantic. Sadly, he isn't very good at poker, which is why I am overweight so if somebody could please show him how to beat the game, it would greatly help me.

Jokes aside, this guy crushes lowstakes and will beat midstakes soundly as soon as he gets a sample and some kingmiguel3 style rungood (seriously that c*** runs like Bolt!). More importantly he is a great guy and doesn't suffer from delusions of grandeur like so many poker pros who beat lowstakes and move up quickly. Fortunately for me, I backed him for a few months and he went from $3 18-mans to MTTs up to $33 and a couple 55s as well as shots in series or special stuff (amazing how often these "one off tourneys" happen when you are a backer).

He is probably going to win a scoop this year so keep an eye out guys All the best and GL all

Just a short update today:



In poker, FT'd the late $44 on FTP but came 7th busting on a cooler flop.

Also a small $11fo but jammed AQ in to AK and 9th.

TableNinja tilted me no end last night so unreg'd from what would of been a massive Saturday session. Hopefully it's fixed soon!

Not sure i'm playing tonight. Still a glimmer of hope Liverpool win this thing so i'm going out to watch it (yn)!

Bunch of semi-deep runs that just fizzled out in to nothing recently. Sucks but what can you do. Marked a bunch of hands so hopefully will go over them. And i must stop punting off stacks! Especially in stuff like the Milly. So valuable to have stack in that and the structure is so forgiving to be patient.

Anyway, i recently signed up to play for Blakkman08. Given a few more games to choose from and working for a good guy so all is good there. Hopefully i start to win some money for us both.

Just as an aside, if anyone is looking for a stake i couldn't recommend Global Staking any higher. Andy, Simon, Gary and the team are all great people and they treated me so well when i played for them. Check out their thread if your looking for a stake.

And finally, the Premier League season has come to an end. Not the ending i hoped but just an amazing feeling to see Liverpool near the top again. Bigger and better things await and i cannot wait for next season.

Thanks guys. Pretty bad timing with uni and all that in the way but soon I'll be playing most days.

Just want to rant a little bit so here goes;

IF YOU ARE A **** WHO IS PUT IN A GROUP ASSIGNMENT AND DOES MINIMAL WORK AND EXPECTS TO GET GOOD GRADES OFF THE BACK OF SOMEONE ELSE'S WORK - **** YOU. **** YOU SO MUCH.

AND WHEN YOU SUBMIT THE WORK YOU WERE MEANT TO DO AND IT RESEMBLES THE ****E YOU WOULD SEE IN A GRADE 6 ASSIGNMENT YOU ARE SHOWING HOW MUCH OF A MORON YOU ARE.

****ING **** YOU IDIOTS.

**** sake so annoyed. It's like having to ****ing hold a grown persons hand through very basic work. And then when they critique the work you submit because it was "only" an 8/10 for one segment of the assignment, I want to ****ing backhand them to an early grave.

Back on to poker, and I have a plan devised to fit it all. Going to be playing the early session most nights which is the b16 - $27pko turbo. Have to commit to uni and put in some real work to make it happen. I have a responsibility to myself to get my work done and pass my classes, and also to Allan (Blakkman08) for putting in volume online. That means going library most days and not being a lazy SOB with my work and getting my notes in order for exams.

So my goals now are:

40 hours per week in the library at uni.
400 games minimum per month.

If I don't achieve these by the end of the month, first three people to post get a $50 freeroll.
