I'm curious to get your take on what it's like being in a decent amount of making over an extended period of time. From reading this thread I gather that you are in a good place mentally now but I would imagine their have been some pretty tough times a long the way? Are there a lot of days when you wake up not really wanting to play but knowing that you have to, or are u always hungry? I'm interested and look forward to following this thread throughout the year.

won the early 109r today. it's my first time ever winning the early one, though i've actually done well in it without a win. tough FT and happy with my play (and the way the flips went), so feels good

lot of trial and error. playing too many tables and finding the right #. late regging more stuff

dont think i necessarily maximize hourly day-to-day or even hour to hour, but i think longevity is higher. there's certain games ill focus on, and other types i kind of leave out completely because theyd leave me burned out/exhausted quicker. the actual grinding would be more difficult

i think playing for the future is a cool idea, and when i try new games, i feel like i'm doing this. also feel like new skills are transferrable back to tournaments. when im playing tournaments though, i dont really play for the future

dont really worry about vpps for my MTT grind, thats what SNGs are for. i used to load a lot more MTTs on stars to get more VPPs, but doesnt matter a whole lot and there's better games out there.

hope i answered your questions ok, not sure i understood everything fully. let me know if i messed up

That's insane. Really interested to hear how it happened - what abi, over what period of time, how does it feel? Hopeless? Ever feel like quitting? Was it run bad/play bad/tilt/mix?
