For sure some people don't open 76s from this position.
A good reason not to do so is if you are burning money postflop due to lack of skills.
Another option is to strengthen your BRM and get into these spots and try to find out the best way to play it.
A good reason to open 76s is that it can flop lots of equity and we can put pressure on weak players with that equity, but yeah if we are going to be a nit or a spewtard post flop then don't open it!
There are many flops to have a check/folding range on although I don't think we should check fold here.
I think there are some villains we can cbet the flop against (high fold to cbet and zero fold to cbet) and there are some players who we can check/call or check/raise against (players who stab every flop and give up).
I am not good enough to work all this out yet but I am damn sure that one day I will be!!
