I am KP24 and I am going to turn professional at poker.

I currently play NL10 to NL25 on Pokerstars.

I work harder than you.

If you are reading this in a few years time (when I am pro) hopefully you will see what it takes to become a professional poker player (from a noob) and it will help you decide whether that is the path you wish to take. If you are following along with me now, well hopefully I can inspire you to come along with me.

Reasons I will make it = dedication, application, hard work, no fear of failure, planning and dedication (again).

Let's cut the BS and get down to it......

Currently $760. I play NL10, NL16 & NL25. This is my first shot at NL25. I am probably good enough to beat NL10 (not sure with sample size) but not sure of higher. I was in milestone hand at Stars which boosted my roll. I have excellent discipline with bankroll so shot take is ok I feel.

July Goals Update.....

Goal 1 = 20,000 hands for month
Achieved to date = 4,189 (21%)

Goal 2 = Forum Work
My Hand #1 - Flopped boat with 44 multi-way with fish
My Hand #2 - Second pair versus donk bet

Goal 3 = Topic to study
For the next few days I will be looking into opening from late position or in particular button stealing. I will gather all resources and try to put it into one "simple" article...

Why so little volume? do you like 2 table or something?

I wouldnt recommend poker as a career to anyone, but once youre in, its so very hard to think about doing anything else, choose your next few months wisely. GL

Thank you for your input. I would like to hear more if you have time to divulge please? Like did you turn pro (or know people that did) and it had negative impact on your life (or their lives)? Would be appreciated.
