dont think the number of tables has some relation w swings, i think its more related w being able to play fast and pay attention at everything.

since pokerstars changed average table speed its not easy play so many tables. playing 20-24tables i time out often...

update on the journey...

played almost 50k hands this week , 95% at 1/2 and 5% at 0.5/1, which put me around 150k hands in the month. im disapointed w results moneywise, but im fine w that. 50bi below ev this week, but still manage to finish the week in the green.

by the way, book a win feels good. since august i lose $ every month. i didnt play poker all months, but the months i wasnt playing, i was losing at sport bets... so its to finally have a winning month.

4- interesting hand against good reg. on turn my standard play is call and play river in position (bluffing good cards, hero calling some, vbetting improved), but w 150bbs i saw a nice spot to make him fold a better hand, so i tried turn my tp into a bluff. didnt work, but river help me :cool:

i agree that i dont rep too much raising on turn, but its still really hard to villain continue in the hand if he dont have a strong hand. and he ''can't'' have a hand strong enough to go broke 150bbs... me having Jx, blocking 2 big pairs/topset, makes diference in this board, because its rare villain open from sb w small pocket pairs, only double paired and some A887ss, 5433ds, AK33ds... ya theres some combos, but still hard to villain have it. plus villain is OOP, playing river will be a nighmare ...what he do ? call turn, pray tfor blanks ? even the good cards for him, he won't feel confortable facing lots of pressure... this is what i thought during the hand... im just saying what i was thinking during the hand, im not trying defend my play because not sure if it was good. as i said above, i made a wrong read (villain didnt fold 1pair) and got lucky.

1- i like to mix. sometimes 3bet, sometimes flat. but ss hand i flat more than 3bet. qjt7ds id 3bet 100% of the time.

2- no. calling on flop, the hand plays a lot easier. showdown value, good spot to bluff some cards, etc.

i think you might thought i had QJT7ds w hearts. then ya, i 3bet pre , and if i didnt, id raise flop.

im sne. i dont like post graph w rb included because make me focus too much on rb, and i want focus on winning at tables. rb is a big part of my total profit, but i try dont focus too much on this.

When you go through periods like this, (with backer, not moving up in stakes to chase losses, etc.) don't you get the urge to do it like this all the time? Be a solid grinder, one of the most consistent midstakes PLO grinders in the world possibly..

You can still take some shots, like bet the world cup etc; and play in some good PLO5k line ups or move up gradually to high stakes but you will have the moniez all the time.

Just out of curiosity, Urubu. I love the vamooo attitude :p
