Successful day back

Got a lot of errands done today, had an awesome lift, and got my schedule coordinated. Had a really good meditation session and set up my stream leading to my first Stream.

First Stream

I ended up making a kinda crappy makeshift banner to start off and not everything was aligned perfectly, I also had the tilting Borgata sounds go off for a good 35 minutes before I was able to turn off, but overall I thought it went well and had a lot of fun.

I also realized how hard it is to talk for that long amount of time, I feel like I definitely rambled but I noticed speaking out why I was making pretty much every play made me play very solid.

I also was not used to streaming so I only got 2 cash tables going which I essentially broke even, but had some of the NJ legends stop by to chat which was nice.

I plan on continue this, most likely once a week, I do give a decent amount of information of how I play so will not be archiving streams. Despite planning on a 6-8 stream time, I ended up going to 11. Time flies when you're having fun.

Stream Run Good

Next Doug Polk??? (probs not)

So a pretty good start to SCOOP, I was quite happy with my play in the High version until my final match where I definitely had an edge but made a few bad plays.

In the low, I got 10's in against Aces in round one and was able to suck out, the rest was history. I ran good and got a good draw but definitely had a pretty big edge on all the opponents I played. I also got my first SCOOP win.

I played the 1R1A where I was kinda cruising along before I lost a 50bb pot QQ<99 that kind of crippled me. Felt due after I sucked out on Aces.

I did not get nearly as much cash volume as I wanted but I jumped on late to some 400 tables and won a healthy amount.

Yeah last match I won was a major grind, especially with a pretty big bubble.

-------

Haven't really done much studying past few days so I think I'll do an hour or two of table work and then really put in a strong cash grind today. SCOOP going on as well, my team is 2nd currently so hopefully I can help push us into the lead. (entry was $200 and winning team gets $1,000 a player, we neeeddd it)

Must be nice to win the bubble match . Wish the contest leaderboard would actually update! I found a way to knock out 1 of my teammates in round 1, my 2nd teammate in round 2, and then bubble the HU lolol. Not a captain to learn from.

Wish I had caught your stream, will definitely try to have it up next week!!

Yeah I saw, that hurts man . I did play my one teammate in the second round, but besides that was pretty smooth sailing, I didn't focus too much advertising on the stream since I was just focused on getting it running.

I think the contest page has every tourney updated outside the Sunday Special?

I'm not that baller unfortunately It was 10k guaranteed prize pool... But since we're talking about 10k buyins... I will be playing the Main Event this year

Will be selling action to it and will link it here for those who are interested, I think I'm giving great value for it (will be selling at 1.15 MU).

SCOOP

Managed a small cash in the one of the low Bubble NLH tournaments for crumbs, but was definitely an interesting format, structure was hyperturbo til money is reached and than pretty much changes the structure to a slow grind going forward.

I really wish I made the money in the High one cause that would have really suited me. But we ran pretty brutal in this one, 0/3 on flips (all 30+bb pots) and then K10s<A9s for the rest, very happy with how I played though. I win just one of those flips and I should kinda cruise in the money.

I also played the 8 max, which is just so much fun. I unfortunately am really bad at a lot of the games. Good at NLH, Good at LH (at least in comparison to the player pool), OK at Razz, OK at Omaha H/L, bad at both studs, and I'm not really good at PLO either. I was a bit too spewy in this one and played not great, so I decided not to reenter.

My team now has a lead in the SCOOP competition although #2 team is neck and neck essentially, my teammate Dan Buzgon (crusher) has pretty much dominated the opening events and has double the points of the next closest competitor, so shoutout to him

Yeah, despite nj being a small market and not much cash higher than 200nl ever running the mtt scene is pretty solid and we have daily $10,000 buyin high rollers that get lots of runners. First close to $1mil most nights.

For a guy like bbissick who grinds lots of 50nl and 100nl and admirttingly isn't the most experienced with MTTs he figured it would be a good idea to "flick in" 3 months profit into one of these and hope for the best.

0/3 on SCOOP, played exceptionally well today especially in the 6 max, pretty much chipped up all through non SD cause I really couldnt make a hand. Busted both 6 max about 20 from the mula. PLO I just played very tight before losing a 95bb pot pre with 65% equity.

Also played some cash and played pretty well. Need to start explo folding more with great bluff catching hands since too many regs are nits and don't bluff enough

Also, won't be a link for WSOP main package, I just sold out.

Gonna get a late night lift and then grind a midnight session

I don't feel the need to defend myself so I wont.

However, I will say you (both) airing a grievance with me about something within the rules in ANOTHER player's pg&c is totally out of line and disrespectful to bb. Grow up.

"i don't feel the need to defend myself, so i won't" *proceeds to defend himself*

"derailing the thread is out of line" *derails the thread further*

...story checks out

p.s. if you'd like to have a civil discussion about why just because something isn't explicitly against the rules doens't make it right, i'd be happy to chat.

Ran well, and played absolute A game, was really on point and just played good, good poker.

I think a lot of my HH are kinda standard and not too interesting since most of the cool ones are non SD, kinda iffy on giving away too much since I know regs read this blog and might adjust...but I'll start off with a fun one.

Bricked all the scoops except the Low Horse which I FT'ed in 8th where my A248ds could not beat AAKQ in Omaha H/L

Approaching under 10k ev on the year

H1 I cannot think that fold with 99 is good? You're putting him on 3 combos of KK?

I think it's good against this villain, especially w 9s. My raise is pretty strong here so I don't think he's ever 3betting here with pure air. I don't think he's opening deuces, I don't even think he's 3betting combo draws that often, but if he does I'm still only 31% against a range of KK, QJss,J10ss

never folding 99, then again never raising anything on the flop given pre action + ranges.
