Big +1 to this; the painful days are so much easier to deal with the next day when you got a happy kid to see you.

Spoiler:
good call on the Stafford move sir

Appreciate the support! Been fortunate enough to not be losing but also be below expectations; have definitely had to remind myself that past results don't guarantee me anything in the future.

I believe that BTS previously offered a much cheaper subscription option called BTS Lab which was primarily aimed at microstakes players, but the content has since been amalgamated into BTS Academy, which is now the only option available outside of being a member of the BTS CFP stable itself. I'm trying to decide if BTS Academy at $200 a month offers better value than something like RIO Elite, which is only $100 per month. I've been very impressed by the free content on the BTS YouTube channel, but I'm not sure if the Academy is worth it. I've previously been a member of RIO Essential and Upswing Lab, but was a little underwhelmed by the content available. As you were a BTS coach for a significant period of time, I would assume you had significant input into the content currently available in the Academy. I wanted to message you directly about this, but I don't currently have the ability to do so.
From an administration point of view, I had very little say in the Academy rollout. I was responsible for my webinars and keeping tabs on other coaches webinar so we didn't overlap similar topics. I certainly vouch for the coaches of BTS, the guys know what they're doing and you will certainly be better by buying it. Not sure what stakes you are playing but a few buyins to get good content is well worth it imo. I also have RIO Elite and they also have some very good content as well, so it never hurts to diversify either!

Everything went as smooth as possible. Twins are happy+ healthy.

I'm hoping to get a full fledged update going; but I'm working through Sunday so my goal is to get one done before we hit August. It's gonna be a large update so it may take me some time but will come.

As always, gl at the tables everyone

Well clearly I did not get an update in before August. At this point (twins were 2 weeks old), the twins were sleeping about 20 hours a day and unfortunately all good things come to an end. Since then, it has been an absolute blur with an overwhelming feel of exhaustion, irritation, love, gratitude, and every emotion in between.

Between the 3 kids and being the sole provider for the house, I haven't really had much time and any extra time I've gotten has gone to sleep. So no full fledged update today and am not gonna have one til a yearly write up (Taking off 4-5 days end of December seems like the perfect time).

Thankfully, during this extremely hard part of my life I ran very, very, very well at poker and I'm extremely grateful for that, lots of winning days helps with the the long days Unfortunately, haven't had any success this year at HS but that's just part of the game when you get limited hands at these stakes. Other than that, my daughter just turned 1 and life really does go too fast sometimes. Looking forward to updating this for real but will update with a few snippets of a top 1% run these last 3 months

Can you please learn preflop in plo?Like I've never seen a 6max game with people sub 25 vpip and less than 8 3bet pre like literally 90% of nj regs. Like wtf. It's not anything close to monker rangers? How unbelievable are you NJ players? You guys are killing the games with such nitty ****.

I was in Vegas from the 24th of May to 16th of June; bachelor party right into WSOP, back online starting today and then am flying out the 8-18th of July for 2nd leg of the trip

Yep, specifically forced into Gaz's stories and a few of his upcoming vlogs

I did get the itch a bit out there that I even entered the $1500 badugi after taking 5 minutes to read the rules.

Eventually this blog will get the update it deserves, but I simply do not have the time to do a 4-5 hour write up with everything going on in my life. Went to the WSOP and took some extremely aggressive shots.

Played the 25k HU with about 55% of my own action as well as 3.5k MGM championship (2 bullets) and 3k 6 max (1 bullet) with 90% of my action. All the $1500 and below I just kept all my action.

I ran deep in the mystery bounty placing around 110/18,000 for about 8.3k and mincashed the 3k 6m, so the tournaments weren't a complete disaster despite booking a loss. Thankfully, I did fairly well at cash and won a solid amount in both NL and PLO
