Second final table of the day went even worse.
I have had 7 (yes SEVEN) bad beats inside the bubble and still made it to the final table. I don't know if this was a success or a new form of online torture, still I got some moniez

Well I cashed in at this tournament with the 22nd position.

At some point early in this 300 people tournament after getting sucked out on twice and then getting tilted, left me with an M of only 3!
Then, I decided to stop tilting and give it my best. My luck also hold out and I was in the 6th place when the bubble burst at 32 people.

Well I couldn't make it to the FT but still it was a joy to see that I could still make money, if I could stop tilting, and get a hold of myself like a tournament champion should.

Hey guys!
I just uploaded a video on YouTube, in which I bluff a bluffer, with some incredible reading skillz (or I'm just a calling station). Also a delayed c-bet adventure.

I have added English subtitles to the video, and tried to make it more fun for you that watch it. You'll also witness the quick hand discussion with my 5 year old son

Please comment regarding the video, and if you liked it, I will prepare more of it.
(It took me an hour to prepare the subtitles for this 4 minute video!)
Thanx for watching

Going through some tough time through the tables.
I won't blame variance, I tilted 3 times in a row and that did cost me some of my bankroll.
I should have known better, but I'll come to my senses soon enough.

On the other hand, now I know that putting monthly earning goals is just stupid for tournament play, considering the few number of them I've been playing. Might have been OK if it were standard SNGs with a known ROI over a large sample.

But I don't want to become the automaton I was in cash games.
I'm in this, because I love this, because I love living this game called poker.
I also have to make some more arrangements in my play that I seem to have inherited from my cash playing times.

I'm still confident about myself, and still got the good mood most of the time at the table. I've booked for two live tournaments this month, so I'm pretty excited about them too. Therefore I'm gonna hit the felt for some live cash play, just to make sure I can still play without a mouse

Meanwhile, I shipped this, but it could easily be a #1 spot win if I had not rushed things like the idiot I did.

February is over and I have studied 62 hours and played 96,5 hours of poker, adding to a total of 158,5 hours. That's more than 6,5 days this month.

On average, I have studied 2,2 hours per day and played 3,4 hours per day.

I'm definitely puttin' in the hours...

Well I logged in 62 hours of studying. I knew 90 was a stretch goal. Keeping study/play ratio between 1/1 and 1/2 would also be fine.

[X] Prepare a training log excel file to track your daily hours spent on studying
Did it and shared it.

[ ] Share your key take aways on 2p2 from one of the previous books you have read
Missed this one.

[X] Play 3 tournaments calculating exact odds each hand you play
Done.

[X] Play a few live sessions
Done. Did not profit this time though...

Teaching Second:
[X] Prepare another training video
Done. It's about bet sizing and being able to profit, even if you held an ashtray instead of cards You can watch it here (it's in Turkish):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfjSCYgZEAg

[ ] Have one of your students beat 2NL with over 10bb/100
* Well, I feel good when I win a tournament, and feel even better when one of the students I coach accomplishes it
Meh, that one gave up. No discipline...

Financials in The Bottomline:
[ ] Show a monthly net profit of €1.000 from online tournaments
Well I showed a net loss of -644 this month. But I am still much better than I was last month, so I'm still happy.

Personal Life Goals:
[X] Walk for 30 minutes 4 days a week
Nailed it!

[\] Lose 5 more kilograms
Lost 2 more, still I'm on the right track.

[X] Don't start smoking
Meh

Lock'n load!

I noticed that I tend to f*ck up right after I get back to the game right after the hourly break. Chasing long shot draws and thing like that.

Does that happen to you too?

Well, since I am probably the only one reading this, I am not putting the story in a spoiler tag.

The guy on my left went all in, other one folded.
I called the all in hoping to bust a flush, or an Ax.
Villain had A5, making an AAA55 set on the river.

Any Ace would call me on the turn, and I wanted to have someone else to have a flush with the river card, that's why I didn't jam on the turn.

Correct thinking?

Sometimes there is nothing you can do to win.
Your AJs will be killed by A2o who called your preflop all in at the final table and flopped trip deuces.
Still, you had made the correct choice, rejoice!
