I agree. Especially against limp call and bb defend ranges I feel like someone has to have a jack out of those 6 cards.

I do not have a job right now, I am going to be grinding 1/2 full time in an attempt to survive and keep my bills paid.

Just played a 7hr session at Golden Nugget

It was mildly uneventful due to long runs of unplayable cards, just like tons of pre folding.

I managed to grind out 100bb with ABC boring poker, no all-ins or anything special, speculated a couple times only to have to give up on turn or no set-no bet type stuff.

Now the interesting part is there is this whale fun action player with $40k in front of him in cash (yes, no typo, golden nugget uncapped, cash plays). I get to his table and work my way to his left where I patiently to double through him. He is an indian man and seems to be somewhat recreational, but defiantly doesn't lack in aggression. Seems to just get off on the fact that he can "push people around cause money dont mean anything." he loves aggressively playing any flush draw. I likely would have trippled early in the day had my nut had come on the turn as he was barelling a dominated one, but there was a third player in the pot, and I was only able to peel one due to odds and turn action.

ANYWAYS

heres the last hand of tonight after I chipped up and waited for the spot for 7hrs.

Villan BTN $40,000
Hero SB $445

couple limps, V limps BTN, Hero Raise SB to $16 with AKdd, folds to BTN.

Table talk ensues.

whale:"You want action? or no action?"
hero:"I don't care either way, your choice."
whale:"No, you choose, action or no action.."
hero:"ok, action."

BTN calls

flop: A,K,10 two spades

hero bets $25, V raise to $125, Because ive seen him do this a dozen times with flush draws throughout the day I shove.

V snap calls with Q6ss and gets there on turn.

I was happy either way, I sat there all day, chipped up and got my spot I waited for and took it.

Of course he did the whole "hahah you should have said no action" speech "see you had the choice!" bs, whatever I left happy because He will be there all Monday and Tuesday still.

So I busted my buyin, I am driving home and out of my peripheral I see a black and white cat making a B-line straight at the front right side of my car, I touch the brake and do a quick swerve and see the thing appear still running just fine in my left rear view. I swear it went under my car and missed the wheels. It was super nuts.

I just gotta be like that cat and dodge the deck when I get it in against the whale tomorrow.

Bankroll: $1,825

Liferoll: $0

currently have some staple groceries and will be mostly living off $2 an hour food comp at Golden Nugget restaurants.

Currently have full tank of gas in car.

Have about $260 worth of utility and insurance bills to pay in the middle of April, I paid April's rent early.

My vice is vaping, but I make my own juice and have already ordered enough materials to make juice for months.

My cat, pictured above, has a full bag of food.

I do not have a girl friend or roommates or even friends for that matter. No kids, no responsibilities or anything. I have no debt to any institutions, and own my car. No credit cards or anything.

I've adhered to the $1,500 monthly nut for a while now, its basically $950 for rent and bills, and $550 for food/other.

So lets run good and get some grocery money baby!

Good luck to you. I fear that you are destined to go broke with such a short roll. Is there a reason you can't get a part time job or something until you can play on a larger roll (thinking like 10k at least for 1/2 as a pro)?
