Hello, i've been reading a lot here, so thought why not to try something like this by myself. So i decided now that all of my free time from uni i will spend on poker. I've tried beating everything from hyper turbo hu to mtt sng, but always was breakeaven or worse and lost my motivation. But one thing i never tried is cash. So, there is my shot at nl2 zoom so far:

when i should move to nl5?what br i need?

Had a small session. Start was tough, lost two big pots with KK vs AA and with AA vs K8s. All session couldnt realize my value hands, so im a bit dissapointed now. However, im happy with my C all-in adjusted line. Will play more later, now im going t watch my country's second league basketball game. Here is the graph:

Move to 5nl with 100 bucks. Move back down to 2nl at 80 bucks. Move to 10nl at 200 bucks. Move back down to 5nl at 160. You'll know what to do next when you ate ready.

Short update. I took your advice and played 500hands in NL5, lost 3$ but it's ok, felt good, just made two bad calls against misread regs. Also played about 1,2k NL2 hands, played well, just luck wasn't on my side. Summing up last day:

Hands: 3172
Profit/loss:-7.55$

Summing up this day, played two sessions combining only for ~2k hands, so can't cheer about the volume. All i can cheer is that the day was pofitable, however i was not playing well in general. I'm not happy with a few of my calls where i misread the situation and those calls cost me a lot. Also, while grinding i keep catching myself thinking about some **** that isn't poker, and i don't know what to do, becouse i don't want to 4table at NL5 until i'm fully confident here. That's it for today, now i'm going to prepare for tonight's game as i'm playing in my city's basketball league.

In the hand with jacks you have to bet the flop bet the turn and bet the river. At this level he could and will call you with ace high. You don't need to worry about him making the straight. Bet the turn again and if he raises... well, you have to use your judgement.

Ok then, did as you said, he just called turn so thought he Had no straight, river was some blank card, so i shoved and expected him to call with lower set or smth, he snaps w 98o.

There is some more hands, where i guess i did mistakes, so your how should i think while playing them:

Hand1
villain's stats: Fold to Cbet 100
as his fcb is 100, thought he got AT or some pocke pair

Ok so the hand with jacks....

If you value bet the turn say 10bbs into the pot of 17bbs and he calls the river you've got a pot of 37bb. Value bet the river 20bb - then he shoves... you may need to find a fold.

But as you said you were the one who shoved river... why would u open shove river when the only thing that will call a shove probably has you beat? Air will call value bets... not shoves.

Please post the full hand history of the jacks hand so I can see exactly how you managed to get all you chips in with a 17bb turn pot.

2014-11-17(morning update)

So played a 1k hand session in the morning. Overall it was a good grind, as a new cash player, had some spots where didn't know what exactly i should do, but tagged and rewieved those hands and know they look more clearly. All session was running b/e , but at the end got lucky crushing KK with my JJ, against the villain with 43VPIP per ~100hands when we moved everything to the middle after 8x9x7x flop, got the J on turn. Thought just ran in top of his range so i'm ok with it.
Know i'm going to work on my semester project, becouse tonight we'll have to send an update to our lecturer. After finishing with studies ****, i'll have one more or two sessions.
P.S. won yesterday's match against tough team, so very glad about that. We are running this season 3/2 with is very big improvement, becouse last year we ended 1/10

2014-11-17 Daily update

Started evening session BIG, felt like i'm playing my A game. Unfortunately, after an hour of playing decided to have a small break, review the hands i just played and resume my session. And then i fell apart, made ~3-4 stupid decisions, lost ~1,5 BI and got tilted. However, i managed to get rid of the tilt and fighted back almost all what i'd lost. Overall, i'm happy with my play and the results.

Hands:2680
Profit/Loss:14,99$

P.s i'm also happy that i was able to put enormous volume on semester project for uni, as i'd worked on it 4,5h non-stop today.

Last few days were very swingy as you can see in my winnings. Also my game and concentration was. I wanted to play more, but uni assignments and basketball took a bunch of my time. I'm working on my daily routine, started to do daily plans including grinding, session reviews and working on uni stuff. Today had fun playing, but as you can see lost 2BI, but this was influenced mostly by coolers where i ran into quad kings with AA, on KAK flop, and my top set where crushed by straight made on flop by some villain with T9o. I have a presentation to finish for tommorow so this is next what i gonna do today, also later i will go to basketball practice. If everything goes as i planned i will play one more session after it.

Hi everyon. It's been a while from my last post and a lot of stuff happened. First of all, i've burned all of my winning at 9m NL5 zoom, so i decided i have to change something. I've started to search for any tips that would help beating micro zoom limits, and now i have a few papers of it. Before every single session i read them, to keep my focus. Based on that almost every tips i found was mostly on 6m zoom, i changed my game to it. At the beggining i had to adapt a bit, but now i think i'm doing pretty well. Been running above EV, but it's mostly becouse of the to hands where i sucked out slowplayed AA with my KK, and at the similar spot KK vs my QQ. Haven't been able to put as much volume as i could, mostly becouse of my uni assignments, but on December 2 I'm finishing it, so I will have more time to play after that. That's it for now. Here is my overall graph:

Hi regs. Been a while since my last post. The reason of that was that i barely played becouse of my course project in university, but everything is finished.(P.S i got 10 ) So from now on i will grind it and to help myself i will try to accomplish weekly goals:

Hands per week: 20k
Hours studying: 10h

I will also review my sessions, but will not specific the amount of time for that.

So played first quick session today which went great. At the beggining it was hard, becouse today is exactly a week i didn't play poker.
