Alright so here's the deal. I played online pretty seriously for a while about a year ago, and over the course of about 4-5 months I was averaging something like 5,000 hands a week or so at 15/25NL. Then I got burnt out with school and life and decided to take a break from cards.

Now I want to get back into it pretty seriously, and I plan on taking the next 7 or so months sharpening up and improving as a player. By the time I reach January 2011 I plan on putting in about the same volume as I was last year. My question is this..

How many hands per week would I need to be averaging at 15/25NL on Stars to achieve Supernova? I'm away from home and on my blackberry, so I can't crunch any numbers and I'm hoping some of you are familiar with the system. Thanks for any help.

I'm actually planning on doing the same. I worked it out to about 3k hands a day for me to reach my goal but I won't be 24 tabling.

8 tabling 28 hours a week at 6-max 25NL will give you roughly 8900 VPP a month, which is enough to achieve Supernova.

Was half thinking this myself as well. But I'm kinda thinking ill have to see how things stand next December before I decide.

Am I missing something. Supernova is 100K which must be reached by the end of December. 9K a month is ~63,000 VPP?

You should be playing 50NL atleast part of the year to make it around 30% less playing to reach the same goal.

i will also be shooting for SN nxt yr as well im a 25nl player and you can do it... i know 3 guys that do it at 25nl and put in a ton of hands per month just goota play 16+ tables most the time... but pm me some info and keep in touch we will try to get it together i think im going to start with a 1k roll and see if thats enuf to make it there.....
