One more full day in Vegas to make it happen!

Been running pretty blah. Went back in the red yesterday for the trip, and down $1391.

I am feeling more comfortable at the higher levels of 5/10 and 10/20nl, but nothing to show for it. I'm not the one to give excuses, but I hv been getting a pretty bad run of cards on these bigger games. Hmmm...mayb that was an excuse .

Gd news, booked a decent winning May, and currently up in June.

I'll post May's monthly #bankroll pics when I return.

My winning % overall has dropped from 69% from early months of 2015 down to a 60% win %. The red April was a big part of it, but still lately not winning as much as I wd like.

This poker job IS HARD STUFF! Damn it's a grind!

hey brother considering what you took on the trip with you being down $152 for cash games is a plus. Good experience in the bigger games, good atmosphere and vibe during WSOP time. $152 loss = rake for vegas trip entertainment. I booked a 22 hour session only 1 time in my life (Lawrenceburg) and lost $200. I was happy with that. Of course you want to win $$ but the value for my entertainment dollar was there. Up down up down, seeing a bunch of hands, playing with a multitude of players, i'll take it.

See you soon bud...

Well done BS. A player like you should be out there for 9 wks instead of 9 days. Good luck this week in Cincy brother.

Can we get a BR update soon?

It was nice tagging along on your recent LV adventure. I especially liked the 5/10 twitter feed.

GL in Cincy but I imagine this LV trip will only strengthen your game. As many professional athletes claim, the game will 'slow down' and you'll find you have 20/20 vision in many spots

If i was single w no kids I sure wouldn't b here.
But my family has settled in the small town of Indiana, so this is the hand I'm dealt. I'd b lieing if I didn't say I often have discussions w my fam about moving for MY poker, but it seems a little selfish. I wouldn't want to take my kids away from their friends or school, or my gf away from her job or parents for me and my desires. We are established here, and I'm cool with it. Sure I could b making more money playing elsewhere, but it is what it is...just money. Being content, settled, and happy is worth more than what I could b making...I think.
my family. #familyman #cheerdad #tennisdad

Br update coming this week. Since I cashed out 2 silver bullets out of my safety dep box for Vegas, I now have to cash out my wad back in for chips. Yesterday I did that at HSI (first time back in over a month). So now that my wad has been converted back to br chips, I am planning on putting those back in my safety dep box today. Then I can post a pic of br.
Spoiler: Been running pretty crappy over the last 3 months, and this month has been no different.

Nice meeting you PLOchrisc. I thought I'd take a shot a PLO that day in Cincy, and ended up losing $235. The 2/5 line up was pretty nitty, so I switched. Then a few hours later it look better, but I just stayed at PLO for some reason. Good luck to you this year. btw, looks like you been working out. Last time I saw u from a distance u didn't look as swoll.
U another gd dude on 2+2, gd luck.

Yea I work out in spurts, unfortunately with running the business and a new wife, I don't have time to play poker and workout. Started getting a little pudgy so I had to put poker on the back burner for most of 2015. I mostly only put in major hrs in the winter anyhow when business slows down.

I just can't seem to get anything going, and my roll has been idle around 20k for the last couple of months.
I honestly think I just need a break to clear my thoughts and come back fresh.

So that's the game plan...The family is heading to Florida Sunday for a little vaca, and I will b taking a week off from the pokerz.

Current bankroll pic.

In the game for $1200 today, and lost $218 playing 1/2nl at HSI.

I appreciate all the praise and all the nice comments!

Don't suppose you were there on Saturday? I played from 8 PM - 4 AM or so, didn't notice you there. Room seemed fairly slow (only 6 $1/$2 tables), but good action as usual

@MastaAces be careful what u wish for. More lame vids could b coming your way. I finally got videos to show up in full screen. Now I just need to figure out how to better edit them. Any suggestions on editing?

@Tswpoker1 wasn't there Saturday. Played 2/5/10 Friday and won a couple hundred.
Saturday I was battling this dead tree we had cut down.

And yes it landed right on the inground trampoline that I busted my butt doing a couple years back. Some of you may remember the inground trampoline project.
u tube video video can b seen here.. http://youtu.be/m3fjmBmBuf0
So it looks like when I get back from my St.Pete vacation I will have some wood to cut up and trampoline repair.
Don't ask why the tree company decided to land it right on my trampoline, for I'm still trying to figure that out myself.

Being here in Florida I have had some time to reflect on the first half of the year. Pretty stoked to get out to a gd start in Jan, but since then it's pretty meh.
Winning $10k in the first month, and then $10k COMBINED in the next 5 months!
Hopefully I will have a better second half of the year.
For now, I prob have a better chance of flopping a Royal Flush than hitting the $60k goal!
Oh well, God is good, blessed w gd health and family, and running pure in life. JACKPOT!!! Winning

Much needed break from the pokerz w my friend Mojito.
Time to decompress and get recharged for the second half of the year.
