Wouldn't be fun without a little bit of a ride! Just setting us up for the epic comeback.

Tidbit info:
We kept baby Knox home for his first year, but in 4 months on his 1st birthday he starts up daycare. That is when I'll be back to days full time.
TBH, I haven't noticed that much of a difference between days and nights in the poker room. I much rather prefer the day shift, for its more conducive to my fam life.

The only days I get to play up to this point hv need the days where Sara is off work.

Well, getting ready to head out to meet Sara at work, drop the kiddos off, and then off to poker room.
Short term goal get 9k by end of month.

Another big day escapes! It's getting frustrating.

Yesterday we had the "Roofer" in the game straddling $25 just about every hand.

I double through him within 30 mins and go from $400 to $800. Actually thought about leaving shortly after +$400, but I decided against it. The game was too good, but variance was high.

Few orbits later, I limp $25 w AcQc, the short stack on my left goes all-in w KK for $54. Folds to the Roofer who calls $54 with $405 behind. It gets back to me and I shove and cover. Roofer calls w 8 10 off.
Side pot is $810!

Board runs 99842. . 810>AQ

If I win that side pot I'm quickly up +$800+ in the sesh. Instead back to where I started, and remained for the rest of the session.

...mayb I shdnt left after +400

Unlucky in that hand but you can't ever leave when the game is that good unless it is going to give you a risk of ruining yourself. I would have to be severely tilted or have run out of money to leave a hugely +EV spot.

How about 9k!

+$951 today playing in a loose 1/2/10 game.
I pushed some edges much like I did w the Roofer the day before, and this time they paid off.

Haven't heard much chatter about the deepstack. Matter of fact, I haven't heard anyone mention it. I'm sure that tourney will build with time tho.
I will take the under. Best of luck @Hello7027 if ya play. Let us know how it is.

Thanks @turdzillo and @redough. Gonna try to get to add to it starting Monday.

Taking weekend off to do some apartment work. Painting the outside deck and railings before we put The Melody on the market next month.

Yayo in the thread! I wish I knew which vlog I made that had a quick tribute to that song for you Ipuntstacks...

The end of the month tourney only had 46 entries, I feel like it will build steam as it goes bc the structure was fantastic! They chopped it 5 ways at midnight based on chip stacks. My buddy got a decent cash, and I failed out in 8th place. Was fun making the final table with him tho.

Keep crushing Rayz!

5 figs would b nice to hit. Gonna go hard this week trying to get it.
Night shift today, day shift tomo, then night shift rest of week.
This weekend I hv to finish up the deck. We had some rain here over the weekend, so I still have a couple days work left. I'm thinking around the first week of April we put it on the market.

The biggest chip HSI has are 25k plaques, but the biggest that I will use for the challenge are the 5k Grey Beauties. I believe the placques have microchips in them and I don't want to be tracked.

As mentioned in the post above stating I was gonna log the night shift, but plan changed. Arrived in the poker room at 4:30 and left before 5. Shortest sesh of the year. 19mins +$329

+$9,351 rt

The hit n run allowed me to do some apartment work before it gets too dark.
