yeah there will be more this time i wont be caught off guard and play like a dickhead, i cant even remember a single hand from it was that much adrenaline coarsing through my viens lol

2nd month i think i was auto piloting to much, and making some small mistakes that overall butchered my EV as soon as i recognised and addressed these ive been crushing like my 1st month again, thats why the importance of review and study is so high

not mutch to report played a small spin sesh broke even

came 30th in the mythilogical beast known as the $1r 3x 40k turbo on stars, was in for $3.10 total lol would be so sick to FT that redic bird, one day it will be mine!!!

12th in the $11c $12k on stars i love this mtt and its great structure, i played close to A game with a few minor mistakes towards the business end which ultimately cost me the stack to maneuver to FT gonna review this tomorow before SCOOP prep, and got pocket ZEUS stitched up by some rofl frenchies open rip of 30bbs A8o utg (6m) for a huge stack last 26 or so

some deep runs just not converting them, will asses these games tomorow and then taking til sunday off in prep for the 2 week SCOOP grind (flex)

He's talking about number of tournaments not players. Ie he means he's hit the 25x game 6 times and won it 3.

this is from the spin n go discussion thread, exact number that are valid thought id keep them here for refrence/few had asked

"the 38.5 chips figure is almost correct (and also applies to any lottery SnG with 7% rake, incl. all Twister).

The average prize pool is 0.93 * 3 = 2.79 BIs, so 500 chips (1/3 of the chips in play) are worth not 1 BI, but 0.93 BIs. In games with 6%/5% rake, they're worth 0.94 and 0.95 BIs, respectively.

So, in order to beat the rake, one has to win 500 / 0.93 chips gross and hence 500 / 0.93 - 500 ~ 37.6344 chips net per tourney. The needed ITM is (500 / 0.93) / 1500 = 1 / 2.79 ~ 35.8423%.

The author of the article decided to round it up and say that 35.9% ITM is needed, which corresponds to exactly 38.5 chips net per tourney.

This is however a spherical horse in vacuum because 1) there's nonzero rakeback (as always, life expenses per game* should be deducted from it for risk management purposes, so it might even be negative in total; but under this framework, I assume that the entire net worth is the BR), 2) some positive profit margin is needed to avoid going broke.

* If you work/freelance elsewhere, then take only a share of your life expenses that corresponds to the time spent on poker. E.g. if you dedicate 1/3 of your business time to poker and 2/3 to another job, then divide 1/3 of your monthly life expenses by the number of games per month to get the 'rake per game taken by the real life' "

Hmmmm, its so simple to calculate? Now I feel a bit dumb for not even trying it by myself. I could have easily figured it out in a few minutes... oh the laziness But thanks for the help. Now I know at least that I will start winning someday when i can keep my chipEV.

Have you made a schedule for the SCOOP? Will you play some tourneys from the M-orbit? I wish you all the best.

WHAT??? Do I see it right you have a chipEV/Tourney of 62 & a moneywise RIO of 20%? That's insane! Keep up the heater as long as possible & enjoy every single minute of it. Now you only have to transfer your run to a nice SCOOP event. Just make it like Jason & win 2 of them

yeah its def a nice chip per game to be at lol roi is big cos of multipliers actual roi/evwin is %7.1 above which is very nice but overall it will be nowere near that if i can make it to 3.5k games with ~5% then il be happy

and yeah even a deep run WBN these deep structures are so good i will hopefully be back with a nice run for the PGC section

scoop sunday

winning day overall ($330+) wel take it for a SCOOP sunday busted 2nd last level of day 1 in the warm up $215 im pretty meh about the hand i dont think we can play it different, with short stack and agro BB (boz ) i think flatting here with AKss is fine, we have a good stack in a great structured MTT and 3/5ing AKs just feels to hopefull so we go for the peel. get a OKish flop turn his sizing send off alarm bells, but AQ plays this hand the same think he hardly ever has J10 and we have blockers to AA/KK, we have the top of our range can never see a laydown here. were under repped to

month of may

o well scoop went buy like a flash ran deep in a few couldnt convert about broke even for it. and thats the last of my MTTs for a good while going to focus 100% on spins, get some money in the bank before dream chasing again, if i dont move upto the 30s by the end of this month ive failed as a human being

spins

got butchered this week seemed to get coolered for 200 games when i was onto a sick month, then 2 weeks off for scoop playing only a few spin sessions here and there. game 800-1000 is ugly the rest pretty happy with, feel pretty motivated to smash 100 games out a day going to aim for 3k games this month with a study day and day off per week the rest grind like a stripper!!!

chipEV

$ ev

who cares about this its meaningless long term as long as ev,roi/ITM keeps increasing them **** money it will come eventualy!

GOALS FOR JUNE

ok roi/evITM is 2.3% i need that to be at 5%+ to move upto the $30s which is were i want to be

sinse im only spinning this month i want 3k games to be played, this is what ive played total so far 3200 ish games

so i need a pretty good month to get near 5% pretty tough task but not imposible will update this weekly with volume and EV then do money made at the end if we make any.

ive ran pretty poor in jackpots only seen one 200x (got 3rd ) 1 20x also but im not in this for the big bink, just wanna consistantly win 2-6x and print the dollars, wouldnt say no to a $45k ship tho

so had a hu hyper master class of $100s crusher dl184 tonight all for the price of cooking him dinner, no anal or anything WAL sinse only been spinning this month been smashing the volume and feeling good about my game plugged alot of leaks still running aids heads up but its standard, i really need to improve my heads up game so going to work double hard on it this month

EV for month to date

$$

my hourly for the month is $1.20 tell backer he can order the lambo and retire :|

hopefully with HU improvement and study can start to close out more get the winrate higher less swings BI wise

grats to my fellow 651 member adam tuk (jigs flippin) who shipped the rio daily for $57k outright and then hoped in the palm beach (i think) daily and chip chopped it 5 ways for $24k lol sick 48 hours for him well deserved

also have a prop bet for EV with wubblepig whos a very good $60s spin reg. only for avatar choice for the month more for the sake of pride as hes english and will have a scotland flag with i squire1888 on it if he loses lol hes a crusher but hopefully we god mode the month and win its 1st 1k games of the month so nearly half way there and at 60 chips per game and 6.6% evwin/roi hopefully maintain form and start to crush it a bit more

vamo will update at 1k games not looking at EV/$ won/ only games played til the 1k games is done now

ty man enjoying doing it, done 6 game reviews with a 60s boss last night, just shows the level of thinking in these 'uneatable punt fests' as many call them, it took us 4.5 hours to do 6 games lol discussing alot of spots and theory. im in love with this game the HU aspect really interests me, never realised there was so much thought goes into 25bb hyper poker, the difference between a good player and a really good one is huge imo in these formats yet the edge is tiny

and to answer your question binkman heres a better man than me to answer it

'At $60s anything 36.5%+ is considered decent
35.1% is allegedly break-even point
But you will suffer 300+ BI downswings
36.5% is lessdangerous but still swingy
37%+ at $60s should guarantee a decent income
Basically, aim for 50 chips+ a game
That's a good winrate
At $15s I would be looking for 55+ my man Scott (Wubblepig) Pollington Woods, Thursday 12:25'

thats ur evITM ^ (winrate, amount of spins we cash which is a win obv)
