Should be studying for my statistics exam that is tomorrow, but procrastinating brought me here instead.

I have been swinging a lot, and it has taken me too long to realize that it is because of my incredibly poor game selection. Basically I knew it all along, but I couldn't be arsed to cut out the games that I was very close to break even/losing. And the problem is also that game selection goes totally through the window with downswings. But seeing it black and white when I'm looking at my graph I basicly have to take action. My ROI in games ranging from 25-60 is 2x my overall ROI, which says hell of a lot.

These kinds of games are games are also the ones that always will have great value in them, low to mid stakes MTTs will always have enough weaker players that can afford not really giving a **** and be able to do so for a prolonged time. On the same line of maximizing profits I should be playing a lot more on 888, .fr and actually register at Winamax.

Basicly what this PGC will fill for function is that I will try to keep myself in line through daily updates and maybe post some interesting hands for discussion.

Thanks guys, fun to have you here!

I have just taken procrastination to the next level. During my morning check up before my exam, my mind wandered away to the upcoming Battle of Malta.
I ended up booking a last minute, got flight and 7 nights of accommodation at a 4 star hotel for €400 which is really good.

Going to be playing the main and some of the side events, the main is ridicilously soft and so are the side events. The field is beyond weak and people are basicly giving away stacks for free.

lfg etc

Hiya!
Exams are over, for now. Felt really good doing the economics exam yesterday so I'm very relieved.

Really meh sunday bricked hard on .eu despite almost having a day saver in the late $33 turbo. Went significantly better on .fr though, FTed theyr €20 Sunday re entry but ended up falling short for 7th. Also made day 2 of the €100 FCOOP PSKO with 65bb so that is a thing.

Have been wanting to update this PGC like four times and I've written like an entire post before just saying **** it. So I'll try to keep it decently short so we get started again.

Malta went decent, atleast came back not in the red. Bricked the €550 Main, €150 Highroller sat, €275 PLO, $225 Siege and a €330 Turbo. Managed to max my stupid Visa which has a €2k limit a week, so I had to send a couple of hundred to a Swedish dude which gave me money in bills. With that done I played the last event which was a €225 turbo with a really stupid structure which I managed to finish 4th in for €3350. The structure was pure bull****, came to the FT with a 25bb stack which was heaps compared to the rest but there was 15 minute levels and play went pretty slow. On top of that the blindjumps were insane and in the end one dude had like a 20BB stack and the remaining three of us had like 4BB. Had to call off a 3bb shove from utg with Q8s which I somehow had dominated her holding 68o but unfortunately it did not hold. Tbh should have asked for a chop between the remaining three of us despite them sucking really hard, the field was just a joke.

In the real pokers I didn't really have wind in my sails. Busted the main opening AA utg off a 18k stack at 50/250/500. Fishes in MP, CO SB and BB call. Flop comes Qc9c8x, and we check to fish MP who donkshoves for about pot. CO calls pretty quickly and weakishly and so does BB. At this spot I'm really hating my life, but MP has been doing some really wacky stuff and I did not get a strong feeling at all off nor CO nor BB. I could be drawing super dead and I would not really mind folding at all if any of the players indicated having something good. I decide to shove for my remaining 12k and CO tank folds. BB tanks and decides to call after about a minute showing QJ, CO shows KT. Unfortunately we do not hold.

All the other events were just boring super bricks and only interesting hand which Isn't really interesting was in the 2nd chance Siege of Malta. Fishy HJ opens and we 3bet AhAd to about 2.75x off a 23bb stack. HJ calls and flop comes As9h4h, villain checks and we check behind. Turn is the 6h and villain leads for about quarter pot, I find no real reason to do anything besides calling since we basicly hold the nuts with the nut-redraw and villains line seems pretty weak. River is a brick and villain tank bets 75% pot, we jam and villain calls showing down T5hh.

All in all profitable trip, not by a lot but the trip was for free and I did make a small amount of money which is a decent start.

The online grind on the other side had been pretty rough but a 2nd and 4th in the $33 Bubble rush and Hot $22 respectively for about $5500 yesterday combined with another 4th in the Hot $55 for $3000 has sprung me up again. I'll try to write much more thorough posts but this will be good for now before I decide to say **** it again lol. I'll really try to post some interesting hands, but all the spots seems to be really boring pushfold spots.

Lets do a super hard reset and try some kind of bankroll challenge, the goal is $30k and we are starting from $5k. Been having a ****load of distractions, but the ship seems once again to be steering towards the right direction. I'll try to go for it in increments of $10k and have a goal of atleast a 20% ROI in the games I'm playing.

PGC-wise the least I can do is to update my stars roll daily and maybe provide one hand or two and try to go from there.

@2.2k, wee

Really excited about TCOOP, hellbent on having a super focused and zoned in two weeks. I really want to ship an event for the glories.

I have a macro economics exam in about 5 hours that has been taking away a lot of my focus past weeks which might be one reason behind my poor results. I can see the pattern of my outside life having an effect on my ability. Especially sleep wise since I've turned around the clock big time.

Will be a lot better though after this exam since I'm only studying Sociology II for this semester. If anyone wonders I'm studying Economics and Sociology, starting my 2nd year this year. Previous semester was a bit hectic since I decided to also study statistics combined with the micro economics course which really wasn't the brightest idea.
