thought, hey why not grind only 18mans 3.5$ for a day, 9-tabling so we get some volume in vs 6 tabling..

5 hours in and I just dropped down a level to keep my sanity

I played 55x 3.5$ and 53x 1.5$s and couldn't win money anywhere. -37% ROI over 7 hours for -101$. That 9 tabling experience is over I guess...

my head is mush and my 320 game samplesize still got a 17% ROI and I am also rolled for that level. This is the point where you ask yourself, if it is worth the time to kick the session for another 5 hours.

As it is some kind of work, it is def worth it, but what If I keep playing bad and lose?
My BB/100 was positive at least, but I felt a bit off the whole day. Kind of when you triple barrel instead of taking a sec to think about him laying down a good hand instead of hoping he doesn't have it

So I don't know. But I went from 6 tabling the 3.5$s to 12 tabling the 1.5$s and then getting some 3.5$s with in. My 3.5$ 18man runs 18% ROI and my 1.5$ 45man at 30% ROI over 600 games each. Unfortunately, I can't get any money out of 3.5$ 45mans. I am at -4% on the same sample size, and I don't think I can put in any more hours or tables at this point.

Yesterday I sold 50% action to 100x 2.5$ 180man and it just went standard brutal. 1 FT in 30 games with a 7th place or something. I only took 4% MU though, so it should be pretty easy to make the shareholders some money longterm.

So... your game hasn't developed in like 3 years, you still play just as bad, I would focus on not worrying about the variance and really overhauling your approach to the game.

So I finished my 100 game 2.5$ package with a slight -30% loss
I had one night where I played like 9 games and got 3rd, 4th, 6th, 9th and 11th. Brutal. That's not even more than one 2nd place.

was 4/11 in the 100th game.
AJ<TT, KJ<AJ and bust 11th and for a long long time I started tilting again. I don't know why, I am 100% clear that 180s are a variance hell, with their top heavy payouts it can be more mean than a standard 2$ 500man tourney ( and don't get me talking about 3.5$Rs, the **** I had on my last FTs was just insane). Luckily I only had like 8x 1.5$ 45mans running, of course with some good stacks. Went to 90% PFR and donked it away in minutes. 2 hours of being so angry that not even the cutest university-girls walking around here couldn't lift my mood.

Eventually I caught a break thinking about those people that put stickers over their webcam would freak out: What would happen if you were to remove the sticker while they're on the toilet? Super paranoia for sure. Some episodes of malcolm in the middle and I was back at it. **** those 1.5$s, I played 100$+ MTTs years ago.. So I went to KellyCriterion which said I need like 160$ for playing 3.5$ 18man with a 8% ROI and my sample size is now 17% over 600 games, so I guess I'm good.
Put my last 50$ on stars in 14x 3.5$ games and got out with a 40% ROI
Turned a -70$ day into a -50$ day and lift up my mood a looot.


pokerprolabs gives me a Q-4 stars for this ROI, so I guess achieving something like 25% is doable if I spew just a little bit less.

if my calculations were correct, poker would be so easy.

So my 700 game sample 18man 3.5$ shows a 17% ROI right now.

If we plug that in the pokerdope calculator it shows a 8-25% ROI with a 70% confidence intervall.

Now if we assume that we have 8% ROI, that means we make at least 0.28$ per table (no rb in this calc)

since a 18man runs 45-60 minutes and we bust some before this timespan, we should be getting in at least 12 tables per hour at 12 tabling and more realistically something like 14-18.
12 Tables per Hour = 3,36$
14 TpH = 3,92$
18 Tph = 5,04$

I we manage to pull at least 5$ an hour, we could make 50$ a day in a 10 hour span and have the Bankroll for 7$ ready in two weeks.
Now if we manage to do a 6% ROI at 7s
at 12 TpH = 5,04$
14 TpH = 5,88$
18 TpH = 7,56$
So after another 10 days of 10 hours we would have a roll for the 15s, on which we can go broke or something.

insead I am not even rolled for 1.5s now with my conversative bankroll.

yeah, I am pretty sick of those days, weeks, months where it just goes down. otoh I can't really play good ICM when I have too much of 3/4/5 left 9man going, so 18m it is. Maybe with a bigger bankroll I take it up again.

Definitely want to play 2.5$ 180man again, but at least w 500$.

instead of keeping 12 tables open right now, I'm gonna play 12 tables, then run it down to be concentrated on the FTs, then start again.

I wanted to bypass the 48 hour block for cashing out after a deposit and send them I would need some money for groceries (pro tip: dont have all your money on stars). the mail got forwarded to the responsible gaming team and they won't react now. How can they work at 11pm on a saturday but not on 3pm on a sunday when SCOOP is about to start?

So, started a small session on 888 with my last 10$ I had there.
1 hour and some 0.5$/1$ SNGs later I shipped a 1$ 9m and a 36man for a nice 12$ in 1.27 hours.

Ok, what a week.

Lost a ****load of my roll playing those ***** 3.5s and 1.5s and was nearly broke.

I had like 30$ on stars left and 20$ on ACR. When the stars server restart happened I donked of my last 10$ on 888, then went to ACR. I played around with their slot-type "spin into games" and landed a 60$ Hyper HU for about 2$. Shipped that **** thing with 99 pre vs KQo and I was soo pumped. My heartrate was above 120, I was shaking as hell and searched/found someone to swap the mone for stars $.
Now my stars roll is at 150$ again, and I can finally play those **** 1.5s again (yeah I know) with tight BRM.
