Last night was an interesting session, def one of the biggest games iv played in a while. I walked in to the poker room and the fish who the bigger games have been running around comes running to play with me. I have been giving him plenty of action and likes to battle vs me haha. I ask him what he wants to play and says £2/4 with £8 otb and £1k min buy in. No other regulars want to play this big and just rail for 45min.

River A (pot £368) really ****e river for us, villain bets £128, I decide to call and win vs Q9o.

I am £8 otb, villain raises to £28 (smaller sizes usually means weaker hands vs this opponent) I raise to £78 (villain likes to call and raise bets with £8 in them, i think because he is Chinese) with A9, villain tank calls.

Villain donks £48, I raise to £128, villain snap shoves for like £600 more, I call.

I reload to £2k to cover villain
3 handed, regfish sits
I open sb to £40, BB calls, Villain (whale) otb makes it £128 (this is always a strong hand iv noticed), I have AA and make it £348, BB folds, Villain snap calls.

Flop KJ3 (pot £696)
I bet £198, he snap calls.

Turn 9 (pot £1092)
I bet £388, he snap shoves £900ish I call.

River 8
I show AA and he mucks.

Session 9 - 19/12/2016

4h + £160

Played a quick session last night for bonus reasons. Usually take Monday off, however there was a £30k bad beat which was relatively easy to bink compared to normal. It was a boring limpy game and 4h in someone else binked it. Still got something around £100 though.

Quick update:

11 hours of £1/1 £300max + £470 = £42/h

37h of £1/2 £1000max + £2439 = £65h

For a total of £2909 over 48h. Not a bad first ten days.

Have not played any pokers since the last update asI am overseas with family until the 27th. Looking forward to getting back on the grind already.

What a great thread, A+ chip porn. Nice work considering the fact you're not grinding London games, defo subbed.

Some really funny hand histories here; lolsamplesize but combined with what I've seen at least live UK fish just press a ton of buttons with complete air.

Session 10 - 28/12/2016

Finally back on the grind. Had a peaceful week off overseas for xmas. No real interesting hands from last night, fairly shallow £1/2 with a bunch of nits.

This makes me so sad : (

Session 11 - 29/12/2016

Managed to get the £1/2 deep open and had some fish buy in for 1k which was nice. I lost a biggish pot to the one nitregfish i genuinely dislike. He berates the whales and often hit and runs when he wins any decent sized pot. Also if the only one who refuses to straddle when 8 players agree to a straddle. Last night he got it in bad vs me and started fake yawning and left after he got there lol

Folded to me in MP I open with QJ to £12, whale flats (1k deep), nitregfish Villain (£350ish deep) makes it £30 from BB (he only 3bets AA and KK, folded AKs to a £120 stack who 3b him earlier) I flat, fish flats.

Flop QJ2 (pot £93)
Villain cbets £75, I call, fish folds.

Turn 6 (pot £243)
Villain tanks for about 5min and shoves for like £240 lol, I snap it off and river is a ....6 (he has AA) and I get a little coaching on how I should fold pre

Apart from this hand nothing else really happened, card dead session. Last session for the year tonight

Meh session, started late was up a bunch then flopped K high flush vs one nit and one fish and lost a bunch vs flopped nut flush.

Going to do everything I can to make this the year I make it from 1/2 deep - 2/4 to 5/10+ going to work very hard and put in tons of hours.

Think it'll be pretty easy for you tbh. Just as long as you're able to put a decent amount of your profit into increasing bankroll for higher, you'll be laughing mate.

Session 13 - 02/01/2017

Waste of time session, the £1/1 opened with a bunch of super short stacks so I left early.

Booked a ticket to check the games out in Berlin, however I just did some research and it seems like the rake is super high?? There is a document on the casino website showing rake something like 10% capped at 20-30 lol. If anyone has recent experience with cash games from Berlin please drop me a message. Prob means games are not worth playing

Is London action really so bad, that you need to travel somewhere else in Europe? Or is it the living expenses?

London is good and plan B, we were just looking to go somewhere different and experience new things.

Drove out to play in a neighboring city since things are quite dead where I currently live. Managed to get into a deep and aggro £1/2 which was nice, although it was quite a regy game and 10 handed

Annoying hand vs unknown and his first hand, turned out to be some sort of reg.

Villain is UTG (his first hand, £600ish effective) opens to £10, I flat JJ in UTG+2, 4 more callers.

Flop T56 (pot £63)
Villain bets £30, I call, rest fold.

Turn 3 (pot £123)
Villain bets £75, I call.

River 2 (pot £273)
Villain bets £120, I call and lose to QQ.

I think river is probably a fold.

Played one biggish pot which was quite standard, same villain opens UT+2, I 3b AKdd in CO, Villain 4bets small I call (£650 effective). Flop 9d5d2c, he cbets I raise get it in and bink a diamond.

I think even on the flop its extremely close, just because of the nature of the beast that is full-ring. I know it sounds insanely nitty, and if you asked me a year ago I'd have said you're bonkers.

However, with four people behind you, on a texture that highly values position, where UTG's range is just going to have a ton of equity let alone the people behind you its a miserable spot.

I understand that its lol live poker, and the guys are behind are going to have all kinds of junk but still.

Yeah I think I butchered this, especially considering it is a ten handed game. I just had no info and made a ****ty call. Although just about everyone was cbetting as pf raiser in this game even the worst boards multiway and showing down some speculative hands.

Drove out to a neighboring city again and played a softish £1/2 deep. Probably one of the nicest card rooms iv visited in terms of management and organization. No real hands stand out, didnt get to play any big pots.
