I am going to start a thread to keep track of my progress for 2018. This is something I never do and so it will help me hold myself accountable. No more blasting off my roll drunk at 4 am. I will start with $1k and try the slow but steady approach. If I add money at any time, I will be sure to state that. I may add another 1.5k in January. But for now 1k will be the start. My progress may be boring, and that is what I am hoping for. A nice steady increase week over week. I have the worst bankroll management and so this is my top priority for 2018. Everyone says setting monetary goals is a terrible idea, and thats fine. But this is going to be my approach at first. Starting out I will be looking for $50-100 per day. The reason I am choosing this approach is because I want to make steady progress and avoid playing for 12 hours a day. Hope everyone is having a great holiday season, and feel free to comment what your top priority poker goal will be for 2018. Also feel free to update your progress as much as you like, lets just not have any trolls trying to bring people down. Things to do for myself: No drinking and playing, reduce the amount of bluffs, and quite if I am taking serious beats. Top priority is a slow and steady increase week after week. This will be all online play, any live play will not count towards this bankroll. I will mention my live sessions periodically.

Phase 1: $50-$100 per day. 1k roll. 4k by January 31. Starting around Dec 20th, I am busy for the next week with out of town family staying with me. I like to keep my username and gambling site anonymous.

Started early. Minor change at the moment, deposited $750.

$750 start, slow steady progress is the goal.

Played 1 hour today and roll is now at $864.22

I am going to start posting the next day instead of the night of. I played another 4 hours and broke just about every goal I set. Got up to about $975 and then tilted off about $175 in some terrible bluffs. Went and played some $400 PLO and quickly won like 200ish. Good thing it's not 2018 yet =P gotta work on my tilt issues. I'm just finishing the night with a $10 tourney, and ill reassess tomorrow on what my strategy is.

Ok. I built my role up to a little over $1500 and tilted the whole thing off. I took some time off for the holidays and just deposited $1500 yesterday. I of course went on tilt and dropped to $375. Then I ran it back up to around $1700 and finished the night at $2250. Right now I am sitting at $2410, and I'm gonna have some drinks.

Current role is $2410. Time to get back on track and control my tilt.
