Woop woop! Not thinking about it anymore. In 26th of this month I'm moving to Malta. Really excited to get some new experiences and the 30 Celsius temperature change is going to be sweeeet! I'm planning to stay at least 6 months and after that I should know if I want to stay in there or come back Finland or maybe some other location. Looking forward to meeting some poker players down there and just focus grinding really hard for next couple of months.
This month has been pretty dreadful pokerwise. Guess I've been bit distracted with moving plans and haven't really have any motivation to play. Playing massive amounts of dota and just going through random info about Malta etc etc. So my volume has sucked and when I have played my performance on tables have been bit off tbh. There was Double Guarantee week on FTP and feeling bit disappointed at myself not playing more of that but oh well. But still have time before moving and I'm taking today off and just gonna grind 7 days after that really hard. Hope it goes well.

Malta Update
So it has been month from my last update so this is long overdue but better late than never.
On 26th of February I arrived to Malta. Moving from Finland was pretty easy since I didn't really have to do anything than pack my stuff to a suitcase and leave. I had booked hotel for tuesday-sunday just to give me enough time to find a place of my own. I had contacted real-estate agency via email before I left and already had planned to go see some appartments on 27th.
So on 26th I pretty much just walked around the st-julians-sliema surroundings and just enjoyed the weather. On 27th I met with the real-estate guy and we drove around the city and visited like 7 apartments. My requirements for place was something in 400-700 price range and with nice finish. As I walked around here the first day I pretty much just figured that the location wasn't really too important since everything is pretty close no matter where you live. What surprised me is "variance" of the condition of these houses in general. Like 50% of the houses look like they are going to fall down every second. The other half of the buildings look like they have been made last year and are in very good shape. Since these buildings are side by side everywhere it creates nice contrast. Of these 7 places I visited there were some terrible options and some really nice ones. Finally it was quite close decision but already later that evening I called the real-estate agent and payed the deposit so I could reserve the place. Don't really have any decent pictures from the place. Mby in the future.
I moved to the apartment on Friday (3 days after my arrive) and have spent basicly 2 weeks now just trying to settle in. Like most of the rental places here the apartment is fully furnished and only thing I had to get was proper desk chair. Appartment is 1 bedroom + 2 balconys. Rent is 600e/month + water + electricity + internet. Not really sure how expensive those are but will found out after next month. If I would like to live in a place like this with this kind of location on scandiland it would be twice as expensive so I'm very happy with it.
I have grinded a bit, but as I'm still settling in and just recently started going to gym my volume has been pretty poor. The profits on the other hand...

Obv I'm just running hotter than the sun atm. Im fully aware this is not going to continue forever and I'm going to have some tough months ahead of me. Luckily I have saved enough money and basically have living expenses locked up for rest of the year and since I'm still playing staked I don't have to really worry about the swings at all. I'm playing quite few tables atm. Usually I try to keep the table count less than 12 and it has been working for me. Really trying to focus fully when I play and have watched a ton of videos from runitonce and done some reviews on my own.
There is going to be 500e live event here in 23-26th of this month and I'm pretty excited to play that. Have visited portomaso casino couple of times and played the weekly scheduled tourneys but not really worth it atm when the tourist season havent started fully yet. This is bit bigger event with 100k gt and 2 starting days with re-entry possibility and couple of side events so should be fun. Until that I'm just gonna keep grinding and keep this heater up.

Well next step is to go play on my own. Atm I'm still focusing on climbing the buy-in ladders and improving thou. I just got moved up to play 109s and my abi is somewhere around 35$ or smth. Don't wanna drop levels and go my own at this point, but when I get enough funds to do it comfortably deff looking forward to it.
Tyty. I don't have a camera and don't have cable to connect my phone to comp. Going to get this fixed next week. Still waiting you to arrive here someday :P

Not much to update. Went out last night to play satellite to live donkament. Obv got drunk at meanwhile. Don't know how you can play live poker sober. Today is the 500e mainevent so guess I should try to figure that one out. It's a nice tourney with ****load of value and best part is that tomorrow is day 1b so if I make it to day2 I dont actually miss Sunday grind online :P

So month update:
First full month on Malta. Kinda meh but still profiting so its all good. My heater has finally ended. Getting lots of deep finishes but seem to get some brutal beats late in them. Oh well I have definitely deserved them. This months plan is to make some volume. Miniftops + ipops + winamax series is coming and trying to play as much of them as possible. Having some trouble setting up an account on winamax but hopefully get it fixed before the series starts. Basically the plan is to be in lockdown for next 2 months just grinding my ass off and make money. Dream is to make enough money for me to visit Vegas during wsop. Pretty unreal goal but at least I have something for extra motivation. If it doesn't happen I would like to have at least enough money to take some time off and enjoy the summer in here. Grinding in 40c weather is not something I'm looking forward to. So the thing to do is just grind 10h a day, keep going to the gym and make some money. Vamos gla!
