So as you read in the title I wasn't sure if I should start this thread, I see allot of new thread begin opened by new players but comments are given on that thread. I still wanted to open this thread after a little thought.

Why you ask?
I want to be held accountable, even if nobody reads or comments I still feel commited to this goal/challenge and I won't tilt cash away and move up stakes before I have a big enough roll/skill. I'm still a beginner and I need to improve allot, can't beat NL2 as of today. I might go busto, hope not though.

A little about me.
I'm a beginner losing at NL2, deposited small amounts of moey wich over time sums up to quite a bit (maybe 300eu in total, mostly tilted away, bad BRM). I'm in my first year of college and saved a little last year to pay for my expenses for college, last year I had a year of and worked allot made around 4k in 5 months and i've almost spend in all for my first year of college. In the netherlands students who study for a bachelors/masters degree get a lil money from the government for school expenses. So for the last year I've spend allot on school, without a job and just living of the money that I might+the lil money I get for studying.

Allot of people in my class have asked, do your parents pay your college? answer=no, next question I get is always "How can you pay for college without a job?" and I answer I've worked last year blahblah made enough money to pay for my expenses.

A month later or so I came late to my study group, I've told them I had sleeping problems(which I really do have), someone replied "Ofcourse you have no work, your life is useless." This comment made me realise how dethpless someone's life can be... I replied "So you feel usefull working for a big company, making minimum wage?" he dindt answer just laughed. What I'm trying to say is that people might find my idea's weird, my replies stupid, but I say *** THEM. Life is to short to be normal.

If I could make minimal wage/maybe little less with playing poker or 1,5x that wage working for someone, I would go with playing poker anyyyyday! When I've deposited I'll post some hard hands and my every day session(I'm using HM2).

My goals?
  • Play 4k hands per day
  • Beat NL2

When I've achieved this goals I'll post a new goal to achieve, I try to not get a head of myself cause I can go busto.

On 22 June 2015 I'll deposit 100 EUR which is equal to 110 USD.
BRM:
130$=6BI shot at NL5, once below 100$ back to NL2.
300$=5BI shot at NL10, once below 250$ back to NL5

Books that I've read/'m reading:
  • Crushing the microstakes
  • Harrington on Cash games[Reading right now]
Books that I'm going to read:
  • Modern small stakes
  • Any recommendations?
I've created this thread a few days before I'm going to deposit, since I hope to get some recommendations of pokerbooks or pokervid's.

Best of luck to you, just try to play ABC poker and keep away from strange situations. It is also allmost impossible to bluff at that stake level. Keep your mind clear and stick to your game, and do not tilt if someone sucks something out.

Thanks for the GL wishes. As soon as I start to tilt, or feel like im making bad decisions ill take a 15-30mins brake so I can continue the grind with a clear mind.

Completely diffrent topic, I just bought a new PC. I'll arrive on monday, ill have to build it than im going to start grinding on that PC. For the one who are interested in the build:
Mobo: MSI H97 GAMING 3 H97
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3200 1150 BOX
GPU: EVGA2GB D5 X GTX960 SuperSC ACX 2.0+ R
RAM: D3 8GB 1866-9 Vengeance Pro K2 CORSAIR
Power supply: Cooler Master V550 Semi Modular 550W ATX23
Storage: WD 1TB WD10EZEX Blue SA3
and a cheap case.

Nice PC, GTX960 is worth its price big time. You going to play something else than poker on that PC also i assume?
Only thing is the storage, i would have gone something smaller and faster.

Yes I also play csgo, but my pc was getting really slow that it was lagging when standing in a smoke with low res and every setting to low. Also when i play 3 table zoom with hm2 my cpu usage is at 100%, a upgrade was needed. Im very happy with my new build. I choose for a 1tb cause I also download movies, a ssd would be great but it was to expensive for me.

Ok my first session:
Start BR: 76,10$
End BR: 69,87$ (-6,23$) (Did a 1$ spin and go for the challenge lost it though.)
Hands: 4012
My HM2 randomly crashed had to restart it, so had to take a screen of the cash results graph and not the active session. It was a 6.5hour session I believe, not sure though .
Graph:
One of my last hands that I've played was QQ, got it all in pre against a loose player, he woke up with KK.

Okay so after brutally losing 11bi on zoom and switched to reg tables. Managed to reduce my losings to 5,23$ instead of 22$, which is a great result. I'm not going to play zoom anymore, switching to 9tabling 6max reg tables.

So this is a hand that I completely messed up... V was - VPIP: 33, PFR: 0, 3B: 0, AF: 1,0, Hands: 6, low amount of hands but still fishy stats from V. I shouldnt have called on river having only 16bb or something invested total spew...

Damn that last hand was spewish, but you know that. You're never ever gonna win it and the guy will never do that with anything but the flush, possibly the 6 if there's no f draw out there.

My bankroll at the moment is 440$, I went allin on a sportsbet wich I knew I would win and I did . But now I'm not sure wich stakes to play... I think I'll get owned on NL10, should I play NL5 until i get more confident? Or should I play NL10 and just grind out some hands cause I know you have to move up as fast as possible.

took a 3bi shot at NL25z, and it went pretty nice. I skipped NL10z why? idk. I started taking shots at 550$ after I won a big Spin and go which boosted my BR nicely. Also cleared a 750vpp bonus for 10$ which is nice! I'm not going to play 4k hands any more since its really hard for me as I'm just a beginner, after 2k hands my focus starts to drop and I make stupid calls. So have to work on that before I start playing 4k hands a day.

I had to end my shot taking early cause I had to do something else which is unfortunate since it was going so good. I won about 71$, here is the graph. On a side note: (I was running good hihi)

        End BR: 622.61$ (71,41$ NL25z + 10$ VPP bonus)

And I also wanna show you the biggest stacked I've ever had:
