Hi guys, I'm creating this pg&c thread because I just got crushed my ass at nl20 and I noticed that I do not spend any time studying the game at all. I hope that this thread will give me that boost of motivation to improve. So I'm 18yrs old, playing 6max cash. By no means I'm playing full-time, because I still got my school stuff to do. I play when I have spare time on week days, so I'm putting about 800hands a day, and a bit more on the weekends. My goal for now is to reach 20buy ins for NL20 as soon as possible and take a shot at it again. As of now my roll is just 310$.
Played a bit over 1000 hands at NL10 today. ****ty day indeed. Games are aggressive and I'm giving up many pots on the flop and turn. Also call cbets and donk bets way too lightly.
Some hands I want you to state your opinion about: Hand 1. UTG was 26/16, BTN 22/15. Thought about 3betting pre but I doubt that AQs does well against UTG's opening range, and if he had 4bet, I would have had to turn AQs into a bluff and fold. Then should I donk the turn or just check behind?
Button had 4, 4 (three of a kind, fours).
Hero had Q, A (one pair, Aces).
Outcome: Button won €14.54
Hand 2. BTN is 27/20/6. Fold 2 flop cbet 43. Is this hand worth triple barreling? What do we do if we check and he bets river? Hero (MP) (€10.78)
CO (€14.65) Button (€12.68)
SB (€11.27) BB (€13.41)
UTG (€10.15)
Preflop: Hero is MP with A, 10 1 fold, Hero raises €0.30, 1 fold, Button calls €0.30, 1 fold, BB calls €0.20
Button had A, Q (two pair, Aces and fives).
Hero had A, 10 (two pair, Aces and fives).
Outcome: Button won €8.13
Hand 3. MP 23/8 56 flop cbet, CO 21/16 reg. In this case I guess this was a 3bet pre to avoid many weak hands. Should I have c/r'd the flop to protect my hand from draws? What if he 3bets my c/r. Do I get it in? CO (€10.17) Button (€11.56)
SB (€10.71) Hero (BB) (€10)
UTG (€18.99) MP (€15.11)
Preflop: Hero is BB with A, Q 1 fold, MP raises €0.20, CO calls €0.20, Button calls €0.20, 1 fold, Hero calls €0.10
