Hey guys! I've been around the poker community for a while now but never really openly shared my goals (mostly because I never had any). After running up my bankroll multiple times a couple years ago and busting, I gave up and took a while off from poker. I just started getting back into it and was glad to see myself doing well in the micro stakes on Bovada. It seems to be a site with alot of novice players, I assume because of the sportsbetting. Now that I'm back, I want to document myself as I go about trying to achieve a specific goal instead of mindlessly risking half my bankroll on HUSNG Turbos. Trying to have more of a business sense as I approach the game more realistically and practice decent bankroll management.

My Challenge:
After running up my couple hundred dollars to $1000, I want to bring it all the way up to $10k. In order to keep my motivated I have a couple milestones in which I will withdraw and spend some money on something tangible so I don't get lost in the sauce again.

At $2800, I will withdraw $800 to build a custom pc which is something I've wanted to do for a while now.

After reaching the final goal of $10k, I'm gonna buy a Miata.

I'm excited and will keep the thread updated with certain hands, etc. Hopefully I'm putting this in the right place. I will also be uploading to my youtube channel keeping track of my performance these coming months. I haven't set a time goal but I want to estimate around 3-4 months. I'll be streaming on Twitch almost everyday too around 3PM PST.

Bankroll is at $1280 now making steady gains. Once I reach the $2800 and get my PC I'll start posting graphs since I'll be using HM2 then.

Update to this Bankroll Challenge:

Been busy with classes and my goals have slightly changed. No longer going for the Miata after I hit $10k but still going for that milestone nonetheless. I've had a strong run so far considering all the swings. Basically been a year of on and off online/live poker. I've picked some right spots, sites, and tables to make slight profits. Learning a lot about the game and getting into PLO!

At my peak I reached $7000 and spent money on,
- $1200 PC
- $1000 JNandez's PLO Course
- $600 Some other random stuff

As of June 26, 2017: My goal is to try and clock in 100k hands this summer in PLO25 - PLO100. I stopped streaming but make occasional youtube videos for fun.

Current Bankroll: $5500

Miata will be a fun purchase down the line as a second car, im putting it off for now. Sorry to here about your downgrade but hey maintenance on BMWs can be expensive. My friend just sold his old E36 and he was sad to see it leave but it was the right move financially for him.

For sure yeah that's why i chose volvo reliable, parts are cheap, and easy to work on + it's a turbo 4-speed manual (lol). Always looking on craigslist tho for e36, e46 etc. i love 80-90's cars def best era...

Want a 240sx/s-chassy tho mainly a s13... Live poker/poker in general has certainly made car stuff possible tho
