5,10 and 16 at the moment, I sit wherever I find good tables. Default is 10nl. I just wanna build by BR back to playing 16/25nl as my regular game.

I stopped playing poker for 12-18 months, started up again last month. Spent April spewing and refinding my game, back on track now. It's a bit like riding a bike, except it doesn't take a month to remember how to ride a bike. So not much like riding a bike.

The good news is you start the journey of making your 1000 freshman mistakes after a year off, then you will make your 1000 sophomore mistakes etc.. Like you said, this is the time to start refining All part of the process, keep pushing.

10NL 40K Graph

The swings are real to say the least. I've been on a roller coaster for like the past 10K hands. Going to be posting an interesting hand after this post. Anyways, 10K more hands to go! Expectations have dropped a bit, hoping to be winning around 5.5-7 BB/100 after the 50K challenge, which would allow me to move up to 25NL with a decent sized roll.

10NL 45K Graph

Finally got into somewhat of a groove. Finally happy about my 10NL overall results (however it could always be better and I am running above EV),just need to finish off the final 5K hands strongly. Looking to have around a $550.00 bankroll when I hit the 25NL streets.

what was the most common turn spot at 5nl? having trouble playing turns specifically in position trying to get value with made hands

I like the way you think about playing hands like this or that amount and then see where to go on from there, i will keep this in mind and check how many hands i can play per month as well. so far i just track the hours i play and study instead of the hands. From now on i will add it as well, thanks for the idea.

And besides, why do you mind grinding an pokerstars? As you may know, loads of players are at the zoom pools now, so the regular tables are close to reg free Xd
or at least good regs so far nowhere near at NL 5, same for NL 10. I was always told to play the FR tables when playing cashgame, instead i played zoom and started donating at NL 10 NL 25 and same at CGHU NL 50, but honestly the FR tables are a dream !

Cheers

Blessednick, not really sure what your question is here? Like when you should continue betting on the turn with a made hand and when you should check? I always go back and forth between betting the turn with like top pair when the main draws get there on the turn. Usually check and then reevaluate.

King Okris, I am not on Stars. I am playing on Ignition. Yeah tracking volume and hours is the key to a successful grind. So stay motivated and continue to put the hours in (both playing and studying). I like the playing style of Doug Polk, check his videos out on YouTube, they have helped my game out significantly. Thanks for the support btw!

10NL 50K Graph

50K challenge complete! The last 5K hands were not so favorable, however this was most likely due a looser pre flop opening and calling range. I need to tighten my pre flop opening range. Anyway, we are moving on to the next stake 25NL. I will most likely play around 75K hands as stated in my original post, however depending on results, i will be taking shots at 50NL.

Going to mix things up a bit, I will be changing the color of the table/felt in order for the tables to have a different look. I feel like this will help me stay motivated. I am going into 25NL with an extremely positive mindset and feel like my game is at its peak and only improving. Really going to try to grind out a strong BB/100. Wish me luck ! (Current Bankroll $469)

25NL 5K Graph

WARNING!!! Bankroll crippled. The first 5K hands have been absolutely brutal, can't even imagine it being possible to start off any worse then I have. Surprisingly still confident in my game though, its poker so big downswings are going to happen.

I am in the danger zone with only a $148 bankroll now, but i plan on trying to grind it out at 25NL. Hopefully the 10K graph will be the complete opposite of this one. LETS GO!!

Um... how do i say this... BUSTO!
Yupp thats right, i busted the account, however this situation is not %100 negative. If i did not bust the account i would have never set up a Coinbase account in order to reload using bitcoin. I added $180.00 onto the account and plan on grinding it out at 25NL. At this point my goal is just to get back into the green, hopefully i can do this within a reasonable amount of hands and wont have to reload in the process. During the week of downtime when i was deciding what to do and setting up my Coinbase account i put some time into studying the game of 6 max. Even though my bankroll is insignificant for these stakes, i feel confident that i have a good chance at grinding it back. Here goes nothing !

25NL 15K Graph

Finally the graph has shown some life of moving in the right direction! Unfortunately, while writing this post i have managed to get it all in twice pre flop with AK and lose both times. (JJ and QQ- have been unable to win a flip recently) So that will be a solid $55 ish plummet on the 20K graph lol. However, I am motivated to make it back and hopefully in due time make it into the green at 25NL.

Just grinding away. Just had my best session as you can see below. It was a +$200.00 session (1000 hands). The goal at this moment is to just push into the green zone at 25NL. Whenever i have some free time, I continue to study the game, it seems to be paying off.
