Sounds like unfinished business indeed! For me I just print-screen the graph (session or total) directly from my pokertracker, HM2, and upload to tinypic.com so that I can display them here. If you want to keep the screenshots I'd think just putting them in a folder on your computer is just as good, but if you have the need to access them from several computers you could probably use Dropbox. HM2 also has a cloud-service now which is very convenient so that you can get all your hand history gathered even if you play on more than one computer.

So, long time since the last update. I've kept running even (!) worse for a while now. Got a little bit of tilt for a while there, but have managed to turn it around again. Kind of proud about that, took alot of mental determination. I'm basically done with 3/4 of the challenge as of now. If I just keep a positive EV for the last 25k hands I will actually be beating the field pre rakeback and successfully complete the challenge, since my EV right now is just in the greens. Let's hope I can do that! Just awful that I'm about 80 buy-ins under EV (almost 100 at the worst point), but what can you do?

Getting close now... 83k hands down, 17 to go. Have been playing extremely well lately, that EV-line is almost straight as an arrow upwards the last 20k hands, and finally I've stopped running extremely bad.

Heey man. Interesting challenge. Follow with interest. I'm actually in some similar challenge like you. I started as a completely noobie at PLO5 like 2 weeks ago. I had quite a good start kickin me to PLO25 zoom and PLO50 reg in something under 20k hands using a solid BRM.

Soooo, the challenge is officially completed. It took longer than I expected, but I've had other things to take care of, and also when you run as bad as I've done the motivation is not always on top. That being said, I'm really proud that I managed to finished the challenge in the greens EV-wise, which I consider to be the relevant number here, and that also makes the challenge successful regarding beating the stakes. The run-bad (was about 120BI under EV at worst) could easily have taken the better out of me, but I managed to stay away from tilting too much, which was key to successfully completing the challenge. I did tilt a bit around the 40k mark though, had a huge impact on the final result, but at least got myself together and managed to turn the boat around.

Big thanks to everyone who has read/commented in this thread. Even though there wasn't very many, it was definately motivating. Thank you! Also I managed to prove that the rake is still beatable in the PLOz microstakes and profit is still possible even for someone who's pretty unexperienced in Omaha like myself over a fair enough samplesize. This was the ultimate goal of the challenge.

My final winrate is about 2,5bb/100 EV, and about 5bb/100 including rakeback (Mostly Silverstar and a little Goldstar). Not bad for a beginner! About 90k of the hands were played at PLO5z, 2k at PLO2z, and 8k at PLO10z.
