Yeah AT b/c is debatable, iirc he snapchecked river so didn't really think he would have much valuehands to check, but doubt many NL25 regs xr jam as a bluff either way. Went with my gut and the fact he had aggro stats but sample size def another issue.
Disappointing results after $1,3k in March month, but my playing quality has been anything from very very poor/tilt session to A-game ish, so didn't expect results to be that good either way, still only ended up -2.63 bb/100 overall.
72) Such a bad turn card vs nits range, wanted to x back turn/call river but obv had to spew off 100bb instead
Sorry to see, but one bad month doesnt mean **** Let's get back on track in May and if you wanna talk some hands on Skype just let me know. Im sure you'll crush again soon!
Do you ever play the regular tables on Party or FTP?
No, 100% rush format

Thanks mate, hopefully May will be better Yeah just hit me up on whatsapp when you have time and we'll Skype, it's been a while! Congrats on the 1k month btw, happy to see you doing well.
75) funny hand vs whale, stacked him earlier after he cbet/jammed a FD otf where he cb big, so that considered I think he raises FDs in this spot as well, plus his 1/2 pot turn seemed weak #feelplayer
Full Tilt - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
I'm not finding much time to play nowadays, so gonna be hard to move up altho I feel my technical game has progressed a lot lately, just gotta find a way to apply it when actually playing as well! Sad that FTP closing down in less than a week now, think the games has been pretty juicy there at NL25r and NL50r when it ran.
Almost back to even for the month after a tilting start
76) vs aggro reg, think flop is ok to x some % here vs high stabbing freq guys, turn/river prob std
Just realised I haven't posted in this thread but been following
GG to FTP - Always liked the layout and stuff more than Stars back in the day and fond memories of having some decent MTT success despite I'm sure being terrible. Always felt like I ran way better there than on Stars too!
Remember playing 5nl Rush there when I first started playing online at least semi-regularly a few months before Black Friday too (good timing )
You still gonna be playing 6 max Zoom on Stars? Glgl going forward anyway

Welcome back fellow panda! Yeah I really liked the FTP software, Stars is pretty good as well but there was something special about FTP indeed
Yeah I think Stars will become my main site again, I did move some $$ over to Party and even bought PartyCaption, but not too sure I like it or not, the gameplay feels a bit too fast for me, like I end up rushing decisions and clicking buttons cus of the low timebank and stuff. Even tho FTP also had low timebanks it didn't feel as quick. That's one of the positive sides of playing Stars. Plus the fact that Party doesn't have NL50, which is the limit I'm trying to mainly play atm. But yeah, I might consider Party if I can get to NL100 again, but for now it'll be Stars 6max zoom.
79) Weird spot ott when we pick up both draws, thoughts anyone? vs 2-tabling, asian iirc

I would press the button labelled 'CALL', because doing anything else seems like madness. When he barrels that turn, villain has a lot of sets, straights and two pair combos that he'll be happy to stack. If he's airballing, you're already ahead. If he jams blank rivers, it's probably a close fold, but there are a lot of rivers where he gives up, or that will give you the best hand.
So yeah, I've been back in the Stars streets for a couple days after FTP shut down, and altho it feels pretty similar the playerpool is a bit different than rush, mainly the VPIP of recreationals are way down compared to FTP, plus there seems to be more good regs, so I expect results to get more swingy again.
80) Don't like my flop xc, but as played river felt like a raise
Hand 81, are you not concerned about the free equity you're giving him. I know he's likely only to have 1 overcard at best (I'm assuimg he'd shove AK rather than flatting the 4bet).
Actually I think I'm probably being influenced a bit by my own results recently where everyone seems to hit. Without doing any sort of calcs I think the value of having villain bluff or possibly even bet to protect a worse pair could definitely make this line worthwhile.
I think it's an interesting spot, my thoughts were if we barrel this it's kinda hard to get called by much worse than JJ/ATs, as you say I think the EV of having villain bluff off a stack here outweighs us barreling through and hoping for worse to call down. Don't think we're giving up too much equity vs his range that normally wouldn't include AK, plus we block AQ/KQ.
Didn't play many hands today cus of headache, so calling it a night and back at it tomorrow instead. Got two strat hands I'd like to hear your thoughts on tho
84) So, turn decision was kinda interesting in this hand vs tight reg, I think both calling and raising has some merits so looking for opinions. He folds pre 37%, folds flop cb 53%, donks turn 2%, is pretty aggro on rivers but also folds a lot. Thoughts?
85) vs recreational 1-tabler who 15 sec timebanked on every decision in this hand, not too sure what to make of his sizings postflop as I have 71bb left otr and he bets 40bb
I'm tempted to call h1. When people donk turns it's weird. High likelyhood he spazzes out, while he would play nutted hands differently.
h2 seems like a pretty easy fold for me, esp. vs unknown. you would have to expect him to 3brl 89s or some random spazz combo.

Thanks guys, yeah I agree with Fishtankz that turn donk is a weird spot to choose here, don't really see many value hands that take this line, at the same time we have spades ourselves so that should remove some draws from his range at least. River might be bad but I called since he was betting rivers at a higher freq than most regs at 50z. Lost to K3ss
As for the second hand, I think the timing tells are quite important here, especially vs guys who are 1-tabling recreationals and use 15 sec on every street. Plus the betsizing otr is interesting, combine those two variables and I think it's a call for me. He showed up with 65dd
Only got around to play one session of 50z HU today for a little over 3 and a half hours, was a nice mix of players skills in the pool. I'm trying to experiment more with different betsizings/lines which makes the game a whole lot more fun/refreshing. Raked a bit over $100 which obv sucks as edges are smaller w the increased cap.
All look fine.
QJs it's probably a bluff catch on 4 straight board. He floats ridiculously wide, so def not folding vs him.
AA is close, river is very tricky, but he should still have plenty of KdJx KdQx bluffs. Him calling twice caps his range.
89s overB might scare fish off, so I like normal sizing close to pot.
85o decent bluff catcher if you know he is capable of bluff raising rivers, but not thrilled about it, would only call since he is aggro reg. he might xr OESD/FD earlier (his main bluffs)
