Didn't play much at all yesterday, ****ty day in work, tired and had a friend round for dinner.
Back on it today and I"m trying to get close to or > 1000 hands a day
Need to set myself some goals for next month I think and possibly post some different stuff here as my thread doesnt seem to attract many hand reviews or whatever.
Possibly because I'm playing nl2 and no one really cares
Hero shows A A (Full House, Aces full of Jacks)
(Pre 83%, Flop 12%, Turn 5%) SB mucks J K (Three of a Kind, Jacks)
(Pre 17%, Flop 88%, Turn 95%) Hero wins 92.5 BB
River should have really been a bet fold to reraise I think, there isnt really anything else he's re raising me with there. If I hadn't have done this it would have been a really good session....you live and learn
6 Days since my last update, just a catch up as I"ve been trying to get my head down a bit and improve my game. Really apreciate the tips and suggestions so far and there are some leaks that Ive been working on , still more to improve on. Cheers all

I've been reading and working on mental game as well as self improvement and poker improvement. It's very hard, especially when taking some bad beats (in both life and poker) and also when you inevitably get ahead of yourself because of overconfidence or maybe misunderstanding.
Consistency is the key
1. To become great at doing something, you need to practice at doing that thing.
2. Practice is most effective if done regularly and consistently.
3. Fundamentals are everything. The greatest achievers are ones that pay the most attention to perfecting the fundamentals.
4. A great practitioner never stops learning. As soon as you become complacent with your present competency, you have slid into mediocrity.
Found the above on a website I wass visiting, it feels very relevant at the moment but also challenging to achieve
