What up people,
Decided to take a little break today and yesterday as my energy levels felt very low for a grind after the 9-5. Not feeling guilty about this at all (despite what the voice in the back of my mind says) as I did manage to sort out loads of errands and the SCOOP events were not that great.
That being said, the degen in me forced me to register the $5.50 5-Card PLO PKO and the $22 6-Max in the late evening, and today I am one tabling the company's home game.
Ended up busting late in the day in the 6-Max, I'll leave you with a weird one:

Feel free to share your thoughts!
Although one-tabling for the sake of it without making it a proper session is certainly a waste of time, I do find it quite enjoyable. Deep down, what makes poker fun is the puzzle aspect of it and how unique situations are: dissecting someone's range, our own perceived, tendencies of player groups, pot odds etc. Removing the autopilot aspect of my game for as many tables / as much time as possible can only lead to more enjoyment and way way better decisions.
I also decided to reset my stats in Sharkscope, as I want to use BOOM to share hands and my username is going to be displayed there anyways. Many of you probably already have me tagged as a fish-reg but that's the prize one has to pay for being a fish-reg (if that is even a thing). The main reasons for doing this were:
1.- Tracking purposes: I would like to set summer goals based on the volume I am able to put on during SCOOP, and that is much easier to see on a fresh new graph.
2.- The graph is pretty ****ing embarrassing, ngl. It is pretty likely by the end of the year it will be similar to how it was before, but no harm in seeing if the strategy/mindset/lifestyle changes I made over April have an actual reflection.
I will grind on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, as Friday will be reserved for my favourite activity:
That's all from me, gl on the felt boiiis!
