Hi guys,

My name is mfpkr, pleased to meet you all.

Im from Manchester in the UK and trying to get better day by day at poker. I work full time so can only devote "x" amount of hours each week to poker.

As far as poker goes ive so far lost money playing the game, however I am improving as time goes by. I have been playing for 3-4 months.

At the moment just started reading Small stakes NLH and will sort of use this as my "guide book" on how to proceed from here.

I am playing 2NL on stars under the name mfpkr....

Have had issues with BR management in the past but believe BR man. issues are behind me now.

Why am i starting this thread?

To track my progress over the coming months and alss a place to post and review interesting hands with the 2p2 community

What are my current goals?

- Increase BR to $300 by October 31st 2016
- Play no more than 4 tables at once during this period
- Finish reading my "guide book" Small stakes NLH within 48hrs (28th sept)

Thats its for now, will update as regularly as possible and also will post my graphs from PT4 below..yes they are losing graphs but this will soon change!!

BTW when i had BR management issues I busted a few rolls playing 25NL, 50NL with 1 Buy in so they are pretty awful.

Current BR - $175.17
Profit - $0

Thanks for the advice fkjail - ive played zoom aswell but at the moment my reason for playing reg is because of the HUD..build up better stats on reg table than on zoom.

So according to my Kindle currently 23% through reading SSNLH - Even so I plan on reading it to the end by Weds. 28th and then start re-reading it. Solid advice in the book and is already changing the way I play.

Results from todays session below.

Lost 2BI at the end but still +EV

Current BR - $189.77 (including $10 RB just added)
Profit - $14.60 (inc RB)

OK - so no zoom --->> 4 Reg Tables max ---

BTW im playing on a 24" 1920 x 1200 monitor so 4 screens fits comfortably.. 6 seems a bit too small for my liking on the monitor and I feel like 4 tables is currently the max I can comfortable play.

In conclusion zoom is not for me.

In other news, I accidentally sat a 200NL zoom table - lost small blind and big blind so $3 --->> its peanuts really but it tilted me to the max that I made such a silly mistake...anyway soon after I ended up spewing a few buy ins after on 2NL so currently down 3.5 BIs today. Will probablly sit out now till tomorrow.

I need to remember to mark some hands aswell..

Current BR - $180.78
