For the last 2 days, I literally read every post in this thread, and I've to say that this is the best thread I've ever read. Too bad you are not updating this thread frequently anymore.

I've always been a lurker and never post before, so this is the first post I've ever made. I've a few questions if you don't mind me asking:

When you struggle for the first 100k hands after going pro, what happened at that period of time? What did you do at that time that after that everything just started to work out for you? Did you change your play? Did you study?

You also said that one of your 'aha' moments is when you understand hand ranges. How did you practice that skill? I know sound like a silly question from a donkey that knows nothing about poker?

I was 19 when I asked you all those questions.
I'm 22 now and I have more questions.
I've made it quite some ways now, you might even be proud of me if you heard my story. I've been following your thread for so long and I've read every single page and gone back to seeing how stupid some of my questions were. Haha.

I dropped out of highschool and eventually became a live professional and I saved up money and opened a private poker house. I'm trying to switch back online as I'm pretty sure its bigger money than what I can achieve live (30-50$/hr) I am inconsistent. I am thinking of going to military school to discipline myself for poker hoping that it might end up sort of like how it worked out for you.

How are you? How are things? How is the poker world? What's your take of a young guy like me chasing S N E ? It's been two-three years and my progress isn't anywhere as phenomenal as Id'e hope it would be. I have come a long way and it's been hard work. I'm sure it will get even harder now. Was wondering if you could give me a few pointers. I'm crushing 1/2 currently for 20-25$ /hr but can't seem to run up a bankroll in 2$/5$. I'm a break even player at 10c/25c still with very little progress .
