Hello everyone, my name is Mike, I've been playing for a while in NL5 Zoom at stars and recently feel like focusing more and trying to move up stakes. Therefore I'll be posting my updates everyday for the next 3 weeks, hopefully I can reach my goal.

My bankroll now is around 440(precisely 439.xx) my goal is to reach 550 and move up NL10 before September 12th, three weeks later. I want to have 55 buy-in to move up stakes and move down if below 45 buy-in as my own bankroll management. During 2016, I've played around 125k hands with 2bb/100 hand winrate , I wasn't a crusher so this could be very challenging for me.

3 weeks. 110 dollars to go.

Several rules to be followed:
1. If I win or lose more than 20 dollars (4 buy-in) at any point, I'll close the tables
2. I'll play at least 1k each day during challenge unless rule 1 happens
3. I'll spend at least 20 hours a week on poker like a standard part time job, watching poker video and books beside grinding online

See y'all tomorrow

August 20th, Day 1
Hands played: 2039
Session Length: 2hrs 2mins
Net won: -11.08
Bankroll: 425.85

It wasn't a good session, I think I pretty much won the big pots, but I did lose to several medium pot where I tried to bluff too much and get called. I didn't bluff at the right timing, and was pretty much represent nothing.

Tomorrow I'll get more sleep, cuz I didn't sleep well yesterday. Hopefully I can win it back tomorrow

125k hands this year at a 2bb/100 win rate.

I'd suggest to stop 4 table button clicking zoom and drop to something like two tables and think through decisions more. You're probably not going to be able to sustainably hang at 10z unless you change what you're doing right now.

Best thing in your spot right now would be to post as many hands as possible on these forums.

Thanks for reminding me. Sometimes I really go robot mode playing 4 table. I'll try 2 tabling tomorrow and try to play A game. Appreciate your advice.

No worries man! Best of luck!

Post some hands! A lot of us (especially in PGC) won't go off on you for playing a hand badly!

Today I had a tilted session when my computer has some delayed problem and lost 15.01 in 368 hands. So I took some time off and read some poker books and previous notes.

Later is the normal session I'm not tilted but still face several unlucky hand.

August 21st, day 2
Hands played: 1053
Session length: 1hr 10min
Net won: -16.48
Bankroll: 396.80

So my challenge gets a devastating start by losing 40 dollars in the beginning lol, I guess that's how you achieve a challenge. Trying to stay positive and focus, because I know I read my opponent well and just facing downswing.

So today I lost 5 dollar KK<AA and another 5 dollar AKo<KK and 2.5 dollar AJs<AKs all AIPF. I think these spot are pretty much inevitable since I probably stack the other one if the hands dealt convert.

One hand I have QQ 3betting on BB vs CO raise, he called, flop is J43r. I cbet and got raised a big size, I called. Turn is a 3, 67 got there, I planned to check fold, but he check back. River is an ace and we go check check. He showed AQ. I guess it's something that you can't quite do. Maybe I should jam OTF, but if he has some set or 34s I'm pretty much way behind.

I hope this downswing ends quickly, and I'll play my A game during challenge.#stay#positive

Don't ship AJ pre, unless there are some crazy dynamics.
