Played some cash earlier today. Won 175.

Bought into a 125$ tourney. Currently sitting at 2300ish which is average stack. 16 players left. Top 3 gets paid.

Busted out of tourney. Probably my last tourney for a while.

Played some more cash games. I kept getting big pairs but was always put in a spot post flop where I folded.

I get aces in mp. 2 limpers. I make it $22. I get 1 caller from the blinds. 2 limpers fold.

Flop kj5dd. I have Ad. He checks. I bet $35. He calls. Turn is a black King. He says "time!" really loud right away and starts doing some acting and he goes all in for 140ish more. I fold.

I get QQ utg. I make it $7.

Flop 972rb. 1 check to me, I bet $25. Guy next to act goes all in for $217ish. I had him covered. Everyone folds to me. I fold face up and everyone asks me why I would fold that. Villain shows a set of deuces.

Vs certain opponents I'm never folding there, but vs most, I fold.

Took a shot at 2-5. Lost 900. Then tilted off another 400 at a 1-2 game.

Currently down $601 total since Vegas.

Going to get some rest and get back to the grind.

Hopefully I can turn things around but I really have to think about what I did today and prevent myself from going on tilt like that again.

For those who are wondering what my bankroll was when I came to Vegas, it's 11.4k. As long as I stay away from 2-5 I should be fine.

I shouldn't 3 bet light early in sessions. And even if I do 3bet 86 I should always check behind on an 246 flop. No idea what got into me today

Play PLO. At the lowest stakes 1/3 plo game at Aria pots can be 1-2k+. Game can get pretty deep, flop a set and punish the holdem players who can't fold TPTK....

Currently sitting at $650ish in a 1-2 game. I'm in the game for 200. Gonna take a 30 break and think about taking a $300 shot at 2-5.

First,it sounds like you should not be playing for a living.Buying in for $150?.... Is there a strategy behind this?...These hand histories are lacking any valuable background information,reads,villian descriptions,stack sizes for table,dynamics.I hope you make it man,but from these few posts it looks like you are another kid who got overzealous and moved to Las Vegas before he was ready.

Dude, this can't happen if you want to play professionally. This is your only source of income. I would set a strict stop/loss if I were you. You're going to be saving yourself a ton when things don't go your way.

Sound wise the dont 3bet light at the beggining of the session, happens to me as well

Had a pretty sick week. Took another shot at 2-5 and got owned for 1000.

I moved back down to 1-2 and started running good. I made all of it back in a week and some extra.

Had a pretty big losing hand at 1-2. Pot was 1.5k

Pretty much came down to whether or not I thought villain was capable of value betting a set on a q5784 board. I thought he wasn't capable since he was 60 years old, but I knew he was capable of turning missed flush draws into big bluffs on the river. So with those 2 things considered I decided to call and lose a 1500 pot. I fkd up....

Deep stack poker is not my strong suit.

I don't know much but I'm pretty sure a large amount of someone's bb/100 in soft live games is going to come from being able to play really well deepstacked.

You need to stop doing this. One day you're going to be on mad tilt and just go to the pits and lose it all.

So loosen up and adjust. Push pots, they're not calling without the nuts.

Just took another shot at 2-5 and got wrecked for 500.

Just gunna grind out the rest of this weekend and then take a couple days off from poker. I feel like the degen in me is starting to leak out.

you have more than enough options to choose from considering where youre at, you dont need to be sitting in nitty games you should be table selecting carefully and putting yourself in the best games.

losing 1 buyin@ 2-5is not getting "wrecked" lol, you need to stick to 1-2 for quite awhile for a number of reasons.

if youre struggling with deep stacked play deposit a couple hundo online there and play micro limits and use it to help work on your game on and off the tables, GL
