My situation:

My name is Nico Prokic from Vienna (Austria); I turned 20 about 2 weeks ago and I´m still going to school, doing my A-levels in May. After that I´m going to do the mandatory army service. After finishing the army service I´m either going to take 1 year or so and solely dedicate it to poker or I´m going to apply for university somewhere abroad straight away (If somebody does have recommendations, I appreciate it) and study business/entrepreneurship.

My poker story:

I used to play a card game called yu-gi-oh where I wasn´t bad at all (I even became the Austrian champion in 2013) me and my friends, who were pretty damn good, traveled to big tourneys in Europe every 5-6 weeks. I got into poker in November 2013, because I lost passion for yu-gi-oh and I realized that people made the transition to poker, so I gave it a shot. So far, I have played close to every format online, but couldn´t really find my niche and unfortunately never made it past the micros.

Why I want to join CFP

I wanted to join to build a br and solid NLHE skills and then make the transition to PLO. My goals with my future poker earnings are the following:

- Pay for university and use poker as my main source of income

- Build a big bankroll for making the transition into the business-world

- Do something really cool at my 21 birthday with my friends.

I´m thinking of travelling somewhere for 2 days or so with my best friends, having a big party, or rent something cool or something like that. I want to thank them because without them I´d be nothing.

- Helping people.

In Vienna, especially on popular shopping miles, you see so many poor homeless people, and for soo many they are just invincible and get ignored which really really drives me crazy. I often see them on a daily basis and always give 5 or 6 of them 1€ each, but as a student, you really can´t afford more, but I would love to be able to.

I think those are things which will boost the motivation even more, because you simply know that you won´t be the only one who will benefit.

I´m starting with a BR of 250€ and go through micros to make 10k

1st update.
Had my last big test on Friday, and did all the organisational stuff on the weekend. Slowly started grinding on Sunday again after a few weeks of taking a break.
had to start on nl5 and atm playing on ipoker speed tables.
Already got all the study materials, and it´s going to be a ton, but I´m super motivated, even tough it´s quite hard to implement all the pre and post flop lines I was given

Right when I thought there is nothing more to do for school, we were given a ****load of tasks. Thought I hadn´t updated for a few days, but didn´t know it has been soo long damn.
Well, now that holidays kicked in and schools off I´m really starting to develope discipline, getting in volume and actually doing something.
After celebration, I used all the remaining time and grinded ~5,5h for 5.9k hands. Today I played ~3.5k hands, probably doing some more in the evening. Also did equity calcs. as a homework. We are supposed to do a few/day, I did 311.
Started yesterdayto really do homework consistently and update (more) regularly.
It really sucks to always use school as an excuse, but fact is, I really had to do a ton, but I defnetly could have grinden/updated, no excuse there.

did grind another 4850 hands until now. ran into a **** ton of coolers as you can see. But well, happens. I always hate it when people “brag” about the sick coolers they ran into, so I´m not going to talk about it haha
At least I really started to implement the pre and post flop lines I was given and I feel really comfortable with a strict "standard plan"(for now)

well, i guess RB will be pretty nice.

well, really need to come up with a better time schedule. the way it is now, I´m grinding till my eyes are close to falling out and because of that I really struggle to still do the homework.
Today I played 6830 hands, so quite a bit, but still short of the 10k hands I would like to do in a day during holiday
well, it did go well in the beginning until 3 hands hit where I just got ****ed.
after the break it did go really well again, but the cold deck didn´t take tooo long to get into action >.<
Hopefully winnings are coming soon

grinded a ****load yesterday. grinded 1k+ hands, which even were profitable. First winning session after a while now which is pretty cool. Hopefully it continues like that. Moved to stars though to add nl2 tables because of my horrific results lately, but main volume is still on ipoker due to a 60& RB deal
