I'm a long time micro MTT/SNG player, who's been away from the tables for what seems like eternity. I recently re-watched Rounders, and was so ridiculously compelled to play some hands, I HAD to log on to PokerStars. Unfortunately, after my last hurrah with the online poker world - I withdrew my entire account balance. I thought briefly about depositing, and I still might, but that's up in the air.

However, I had a very small amount of FPP's, or coins, or whatever they are called now...but with those points, I was able to purchase a few small tourney tickets (mostly .25c Spin and Go's) - and I also had a Step 1 ticket saved from way back when. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that the Step 1 ticket was able to be used as a entry to a 7.50 tournament. I decided to play The Big 7.50 and mincashed for $13.


TLDR;

Been away, back now and I have a $16 bankroll to try and work with before depositing. I will be playing .25c and .50c MTSNGS.

I do have a fulltime job, and I'm in the process of starting my own freelance business as well, so I will try to keep this as updated as possible.

Wasn't the start I wanted - but ah well. Only played 23 games, the 360/180/90s weren't firing off so it was just a quick session of .50c 45s and mtts >.55c

Took a bit of a hit.

Taking the little man to a virtual reality arcade this afternoon, will be back to fire up some tables after that. Goal is to be rolled for 1$ 180s by the end of February. (If not - I'll be depositing)

Small session of 17 games last night - literally didn't cash one. Fired up some 2nl and ran pretty decent at ~20bb/100 for ~1000 hands.

Was on the way to work today, when my coffee cup decided it no longer wanted to be a container and the bottom fell out completely soaking me in hot coffee..

So naturally I took it as a sign, and went home to fire up some tables!

Not sure if I want to do ~10 hours of cash or ~10 hours of sng/mtts... time will tell!

Put together a little package that I'm selling shares for - has 26 mtt/satties + $1/180s + $.50c 180/360s

Hopefully it sells so we can go for a bit of a bink to get the ball rolling! Will be grinding out this Big .55 and some cash tables until then!

Well not the result I wanted, but could have been worse - took 6th in a 1.10 6max hyper turbo , couple 2nds in some 180s...it wasn't looking good, but i managed to bring in a bit of profit from the stake.

What stakes cash do you play?

I wish I could /flex and be like, 500NL...but for now, I can't. I have a few, erm, tilt issues that I'm working through. So for now I'm playing 10nl.

So no bites on that yet, but threw up another little package for today! Gonna fire up a couple cash tables and see if this sells!

Just finished a long ass session of 2nl zoom.

I've had a massive headache for the last 3 hours or so, but it was hard to walk away with the way i was running.

Ran at 21bb/100 for ~7750 hands

br= 50.22

Also made almost 200 stars coins which is cool, probably use that for another 8 .25 spin and gos, unless someone knows a more +ev move

Managed to get in ~2000 hands...ran pretty break even, up about a buck. Ran set into set early session so glad to have gotten that back.

So I didn't play much last night - had my younger sister over and we worked on some of her music.

Okay so, I'm fed, I'm watered, Ive acquired snacks - I think I'm good to go.

Playing mtt/sngs for the first half of today - will be playing every .55-1.10 I can, and every $1 180 that pops off...potentially .50c 360s and 180s, but we'll see.

So last night I stumbled upon a thing called Tankroll building - which is basically just really loose BRM, while consistently adjusting the stakes you're playing.

I figured why the hell not, as I can always reload if I go busto - plus I have someone staking me in a QH this week.

So decided to play some 5nl zoom, as well as registering a few tournaments like the Big 5.50, deepstack 2.20 etc. Naturally as with most shot taking, it went terribly and I lost 2.5 buyins within 500 hands, as well as all the mtts.

It was looking bleak as I had like $31 after the day's games.

But decided to shake it off, made myself some nachos to clear my head and got psyched up to slam out some more 2nl. Within a couple thousand hands I managed to make back almost everything I lost at 5nl and the tournaments. So I was pretty glad to have made that back

Gonna be playing 2nl all day today, as well as playing the 5.50 mini sunday stack that I just decided to fire up.
