Hey man. I have a housemate who had been receiving personal training and also I know some guys who have gone from slim to bulking up. Fortunately having these kind of people around helps a ton. If anything the main things I have learnt are you don't gain weight when skinny by eating junk food. These are the wrong types of calories. You need clean calories with balanced meals containing the right kind of protein and carbohydrates. For example steak and potatoes or chicken and whole meal rice with veg

I do all my food shopping through Waitrose (ocado online). Tbh it's a lot of money but I spend so much money on rent/living in general that I feel it's more than a worthy investment. After all, if you are healthy and exercise then your productivity will be far greater too. You're welcome to add me on Skype to chat further. It's ben-raven.

Gl and thanks!

Enjoyable for half the session and horrible for the 2nd half. Standard of play slipped drastically and i can't afford to do that playing 400. Losing a tiny bit there still.

Made a good comeback today after getting beyond stationed in a few spots.

Not sure if my bluffs were bad, but if anyone has any comments then that would be great too.

this was vs a 17/13/5. I just can't see the logic behind calling down here. I do have some busted draws but i have so many value hands that i play this way.

What exactly are we lolling a here tobe?

Agree can definitely go smaller with the T8. Think that given villains in the blinds and reaction when checking as pfr stats, it's a good spot to triple off.

haha this is true maggie. Obv i'm not tripling here 100% when checked to, but tbh, with villains exact stats i could prob triple off any 2 profitably.

True that. I can make excuses that I have a regular job but that won't cut it. I'm going to enter the prop bet for charity in March so it "forces" me to up the volume. I'm also going to change back to my normal work schedule so I'm not working more than 8 hours each day. Working 9-10 hours 4 days a week just to get Friday off every other week is leaving me too tired to put in more than an hour grinding each night.

Is hand #1 & #2 vs same reg?

If so that could explain why he called down 2nd hand as you played it the same way. Could It also explain if you balance your triple barrel bluffs vs triple barrel for value why you were called down so light in first hand?

calldowns obviously :/ i cant treat a person as a good player if he feels the need to call down with obvious bottom parts of his range for w/e the reasons may be. And lets be realistic, in todays games above micro stakes nobody has such glaring leaks when youd need to change your ranges dramatically.

It was a different reg, but the same table so one might have watched the other.

I guess there's a good chance that the 2nd call down assumed i was on tilt or some kind of rubbish

haha thanks for clearing this up. I didn't think you were berating me at all, was just interested as to what your thoughts were.

          Todays results:

Managed to lose everything at 400nl today. I think i'm actually over adjusting to the regs there and playing overly aggro. On the other hand it's still such a small sample that i'm not going to read that into it yet.

This was vs a winning midstakes reg. I do have a great hand for blocking a ton of hands but in hindsight i'm not sure if he folds a nut flush which would make my bluff terrible.

Reviewed all my hands at 2/4 with good regs and they felt that apart from 1 misplayed bluff that i was playing well still. Hopefully I can hit an upswing at 400 or i'll drop it again to rebuild.

Winning a stack at 400 finally. I think that 4b shoving is better than clicking it back in this spot. Can definitely be convinced otherwise though:

Seems like a solid month, I wish mine was at least half of that...

Makes sense to 5b those Aces to smthin smallish. Like I can imagine there's a few hands youd like to take that line with (AQ out of the top of my head) - get the shortie's stack but not risk your whole vs reg.

And how the f you keep posting hands vs huge whales. I start every single table pretty much that ever runs while Im online and I probably get like 1 HUGE fish in 2 weeks...

Haha stop battling tough games and play some good old full ring! Actually scrap that, stay away

Still deliberating whether it would be better to 5b with AA. I guess it would be easier to balance if we go small instead of jamming. Was just worried he'd fold JJ or QQ to a min 5.

Haha well I'm trying to use better game selection and fortunately there seem to be a lot of fish around. Usually the same fish floating around. Gl mate!
