In other news i've got 2 new clients. Up to 5 a week now which is pretty cool.

Most importantly, I have signed a deal with Card Runners to make 10 coaching videos. I'm really not one to do coaching videos, but every man has his price... My first video goes live next week and i'll be making roughly 1 vid per month. Pretty exciting stuff, I really feel this opportunity can help my game!

Everything seems to have taken a bit of an upswing the past week or so, so let's hope it continues! gl

Just read your last hands. AT vs Q9 on turn... you mean it's close between calling/raising right?

Why do you think it's that close? You think he has middle pairs and flush draws a lot and moreover that he will call a raise with those a lot? Sorry for the strat talk, it's just that it's the kind of spot that I only see (ainec) calling as an option.

Otoh, what format will the new vids have? I personally would love some live vids, maybe including a bit of shorthanded play as well.

Best for me to explain how things went down after the hand. The other villain in this hand messaged me in skype and said i should maybe be folding AT there. I then ran this hand by a bunch of others that i speak to a lot about hands. We determined that villain has a some worse Ax, sets, FD's and then AQ/AK. Also there is a smaaaaall chance the fish has us beat. The reason it became 'close' was because villain had just joined the table and didn't know how bad the fish was. The danger of me calling twice is that villain can realise his equity with draws and call better which puts me in a horrendous spot when fish jams the river.

fwiw i 100% agree that it wasn't close to a call at the time (hence the call ott) and this is reinforced by the fact villain folded AQ!

ha cheers mate. I'm more than happy to do some live vids. I'm not very good at shorthanded but will certainly mix in a bit when i get the chance. In the first video there is 1 SH hand.

Glad Im not the only one. I done this last week. Had been grinding solid all week and lost track of the days. Then suddenly at like 3am I remembered I had a job interview next morning at 9.30am on the Friday.

Went to bed got a few hours sleep and turned up to the interview next day thinking it was Friday. Nobody said nothing while I was there on the Thursday - a day early. I realised later in the day it was actually Thursday and not Friday yet. Phoned them up to explain I had been to the interview a day early and the person on the phone had no idea what I was talking about and told me to attend my booked interview spot on the Friday. Lol, think I might not get the job.

Must be Pokers way of telling me to focus on the grind and not a 9 to 5

He was amazing as always tho.. do you have any idea how he does the finale with the mobile number? Or how he knows ppls relatives names and ages when outing th mediums?
