Had a good past couple days and still riding that heat! Also winning a big flip at the end of todays session caught the ev back up:



Honestly barely have any interesting hands to post. Just won std stacks and then loads of medium sized pots through small bluffs/value betting std hands. Also the 2p2 hand replayer thing isn't even working so i couldn't post any if i wanted to!

Month at around 10k profit which is going better than i could have imagined having just moved up to midstakes. Long may it continue

Had a very bad session today:



Felt i played pretty well but made a couple of bluffs that got called and also had some really gross spots:

vs passive reg/fish. This was at the end of the session and just before i quit. My 3bet pre is too loose and unnecessary. Post flop i think it's fine:



Bluff vs good reg. Bluffing more stacks at 600nl:



Horrendously gross spot vs an 80/50/32 and a good reg. I just don't see folding as an option. Fish in SB:



vs reg at 600nl so no real reads given low volume there. I mean, he pretty much always has 666 but i couldn't find the fold:



Tripple vs a passive fish who likes to fold. Perhaps pointless?



vs taggish reg. Another horrible spot once called otf. Upon review, betting smaller otf and ott might be better to gain better insight to the strength of his hand. I think that depending on his aggression frequencies i could even bet fold small on the turn:



Busy tonight in central london so will have to call it a day. Pretty happy to do so anyway and take it easy! The month is still looking great at ~7k but there is quite a dip at the end of the graph now

I'm unsure what you mean by 'passive reg/fish', and I suppose what I'm about to say probably applies more vs a reg:

- I dont see the merit to overshoving turn vs. bet-bet. I cant see many hands that he would fold to this turn bet that he wouldn't fold if we just barreled off. Given the board texture he is v unlikely to shove to out turn c-bet so either way we realize our equity (probably should be bet-calling anyway). Also by barreling off we gain the added ev for the time he calls turn and folds otr.

yeah i mean here in 2014 we have so many resources we should be able to tell exactly what the player type that we are playing against. and if we are a bit unsure as to if he is a weak regfish or a passive fish we shouldn't rly be getting this out of line 3betting hands like this until we know what we are trying to achieve. I think bet/calling the turn and XFing rivers when we miss is pretty much always going to be best here i cant see a fish or weak reg ever folding river with anything to the very small river shove and i dont think overbet vs normal size bet changes the calling range enough here ott.

Cheers for the feedback boys. At the time i felt that i could maximise my fold equity by overshoving and felt he was likely to fold a hand like AJ, but if i were to bet half pot he'd most certainly call. Can see arguments on both sides but the fact both of you think betting small is better then you're likely to be right!

Part of the reason there's a huge dip at the end of the graph is cus of this hand. Was being re iso'd by him so often to the point that i blew up. Gotta cut this kinda stuff out as it's so costly. If i post it maybe i won't do it again!



Still a decent chunk left of the month to make it a really great one. Albeit, this months results compared to days is way better than any month in a long time.

I dont know whats with stars people and folding but ****, i call tp in that spot 100% and im shown bull**** 70% of the time.
If the guy potshoves then he has it but when hes short they often desperate shove with crap

Yeh i never would fold but when it's a passive fish it's hard not to think we're beat! haha stars guys like having the best hand and not bluffing lolol it's not quite 34 but how else will i confirm that i'm making a bad call down! What sites/limits do you play?
